I don't understand the comment in the video about the cargo cover not fitting under the floor... it's not supposed to. It releases from the clips on the boot door and rolls back up into the hanging bar behind the seats. I personally think it's a clever design that should be in more cars.

Right so in other cars, like the Hyundai Tucson, the bar it rolls back into can go under the floor. I obviously didn't mean the whole thing should go in unfurled.

What if you need to remove the cover to fit something tall in the boot but still want to carry rear passengers?

@@BuckleUpShow have done often it will also fit in the gap left behind the tall object and base of rear seat ,even with them on the upmost recline

Other reviews I’ve seen on this have said it’s a touchscreen at standstill which disables on the move.

Well in that case my hands are broken as I tried using it and it did not respond

I had the same problem in the MX5. It would sometimes work by touch at a standstill, but other times it wouldn't 😂

I think these newer mazdas with the updated longer infotainment screens need to have a setting checked in the menu to enable touch for apple carplay and android auto. I suspect it's turned off by default.

£900 on the exclusive line trim up,‘Doesn’t appear to be available on lower trims.

An exclusive-line car will be someone where in the mid 30k mark depending on options, also as wonderful as Mazda soul red is it's worth bearing in mind it's basically impossible to repair and blend so if you get a panel scratch you would have to do the whole panel, and then it probably wouldn't quite match the rest of the car anymore

@@BuckleUpShow I'm pretty sure Dr. Colorchip's touch up paint is more accurate than Mazda's own touch up paint from the dealer.... and cheaper too. At least good enough for stone chips and minor scratches.
