I am fortunate to know that there are two main catagories of mediation. 1) Samadha and 2) vipasana. Though I do practice meditation regularly and likes mediation very much, I do not know that there are two types of mediation. I am eagerly looking forward to the videos in this series.

A secret is to remember who you are and your happiness is something you choose and have within yourself. If you can smile, walk away, even say I choose not to go there today, that’s not my thing. There is a saying : that’s not my circus, not my monkey. Ask yourself why you choose to pick up their monkey, if you do ? Do you want to have the last word? Do you want to be right? Do you want to look good in their eyes? Do you need to look good in your own eyes? Silence can be the real truth. This master has said. “Fall in love with silence and stillness”. Remember people like this are suffering. How to love them, wish them the best, peace and freedom from fear and worry, forgive the antagonist attitudes. To do that you need to be free from fear and worry yourself. Practice kindness like the hippies in the old days - give a flower 🌺 - say I am sorry you are so frustrated about this. If it is painful for you to bear the antagonism take it with you into your next time of meditation, feel it, release it and pray for them. If none of this works distance yourself in hopes they will understand why you have chosen to be silent. Don’t get down on yourself if this is hard. There is a reason the universe has brought them to you - for you to grow. I am not the master teacher here of course, just a person sharing some personal experience. Someone I needed to stop speaking to for years finally said. I understand why you quit talking to me now - and apologized! Might not be your same situation at all. If so, forgive me for butting in. ❤️ Have a blessed life.

Realize that these People cannot harm you. What happens to the outside doesn’t degrade your soul or your intelligence. Only what you do, your Actions can degrade your soul and intelligence. Realize this, and you Will not be inclined to let such People irrirtate you anymore. Its not them, but how you react to them. It is like resenting rain for pouring down

Venerable bhante, I have a question. Our great teacher Supreme buddha said " lying is a great sin. " But there are many kinds of lies. For instance - 1.some lies hurt someone. 2.some lies do not harm anyone. 3.again,some lies do not harm anyone but benefit even a little. So, what is the sin of telling lies do not harm anyone? 🙏 Namo buddhai.
