@@Diabrvdont misunderstand..if u dont know abt the buddhism dont give spread wrong ideas. hinduism is little ingrown branch in the tree of buddhism . Hinduism practicing to vimukthi or moksha. Buddhism teaching nirvana. That is two different things. Hinduism still didnt realize the whole part of this nature of this dhamma. And there is nothing to say abt other religions, they are almost myths and religions. Buddhism is a nature of dhamma

I'm so sick of my culture. I learned this organically and never realized it was meditation. I had a 40 foot long walkway that I paced as I watched thoughts, contemplated or just experienced my walking. It felt good, though it usually didn't last beyond the meditation. And everyone else telling me I need to stop, others will see me pacing and think I'm crazy. Always listen to your intuition, always follow your heart.

A few weaks ago I walked 27 km from my home village to the one of my wife (both in Austria), mine is 273 m above the sea, hers 695 m. It took me 5:30 hours and it felt very meditative.

I'm putting walking meditation in practice right away. 🙂 I have already tried that in countryside but it is true that it is much harder to concentrate - uneven surface, stones, insect, animals, ... but I am trying to be more focused and concentrated in the countryside, in the woods, too. 🦊🍀

The Buddha recommended walking meditation to monks after the Royal physician ( who treated the buddha, named Jeewaka ) to whom many thousands of monks came for treatment as well, "complained" to the Buddha that monks are falling sick with lack of exercise/ adequate body mobility, and requested that they be allowed more physical mobility...
My morning walk in serene Central Park is a meditative experience. 😇
