Back then it wasn’t such a big deal to the bands. They knew we could never put out a sellable competition piece of recording. MCA had a lock on all of the money making tracks. It’s great to actually meet a couple people that have the benefit of my hard work. By the way, BOOTLEG is such a dirty word! LOL! I saw his behind the music on VH1 I believe. He had been clean and sober there at the end and he was getting ready to take TF OVER. He talked about being happy and free due to his found sobriety. Scary good who knows if he didn't get on that plane but IMO he's known far and everywhere for being the best. The of your comment that inspired mine was the way he said I'm sobor with genuine happiness he then let his guitar say what sober feels like to him and everyone understood. The instrument that could say it better than the voice. SRV is legend.

Nick Korte Yup! It's in one of the biography's I read about Stevie. Stevie smoked all the way up until 88, this is in 89. He wanted to get rid of all of his vices. He quit the drugs and alcohol, so smoking was the last real bad thing he had left to conquer. Just did a quick wiki search and Nicorette gum was approved by the FDA in 84.

Buddy's got those hard-ass kickin' blues pipes! He can sing it. He's so good live! He gets the crowd into it. It's good to see SRV too...RIP. Great Post!!! Thank you.

Buddy might be the greatest showman the blues has ever known. Even with a ponytail he's STILL great! LOL!

The song on the CD is 25 minutes long and they both rip the walls apart. Damn fine show, damn big loss when he died. God see Buddy if you can.

Because you don't listen to the Blues to get them, you listen to get rid of them.
