I love this. “Low Cost” doesn’t always equal “Low Quality”!!! Thanks for sharing! 🔥🔥🔥

Thanks for reviewing this unit! I got one for Christmas (2021) to use at church and I love it! Now, I've never got to try one of the high end units (Shure, Sennheiser), so I don't have anything to compare to except for a wired connection to my P16m. With the Phenyx, there is a bit of a noise floor, but once the music starts I don't notice it. I'll have tiny drop outs at times, but not enough to spend an extra $1000 to get rid of it. The main thing is, IT'S STEREO!!! That's the secret to a great IEM mix. I wanted to try one out for myself before I try to talk my church into getting a transmitter and several receivers for our singers. Really a great kit for the money.

Thanks for the review. Just tried one of these last night. Pro's: great to be able to walk around and not be tethered to the in ear mixer. Con's: The noise floor on this receiver (belt pack) is way higher than I ever figured it should be. There's a significant 'hissing' present and it definitely gets louder when you turn the volume up on the receiver. It's a major issue in my opinion. I watched at least a half dozen reviews on this unit before I bought it and NONE of the reviews mentioned this high noise floor. Maybe I got a bad unit?

I’d say that’s possible. My people never complain about that. Sorry, that’s a bummer.

Make sure you're feeding a fairly hot signal into the transmitter from the PA. More signal means better signal -to-noise ratio on the receiver end.

Thanks Ryland for your video, possible to add on 4 to 5 body pack using the same system if needed?
@vanisher163 жыл бұрын
With two body packs can you pan the mixes to have two separate mono mixes?.. I know you can do that with other similar systems, but I can't see that it's an option with this one.
@RylandRussell3 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. Each body pack would just need to be panned. It’s a great benefit that I forgot to mention!

Thanks for a very informative video that resulted in me buying this system. I have used them for quite a lot of gigs now, and I only have one issue: I am experiencing some dropouts (in the form of loud noise, the sound does not cut) occasionally when I touch the antenna on the body pack. Not a huge problem, but I would love to fix this. Any tips? Is it possible to upgrade the antenna only? Is it possible to buy a better body pack with two antennas or something?
@RylandRussell2 жыл бұрын
Hmmm I haven’t experienced that one! I assume you’ve tried a new frequency?
@ofulm2 жыл бұрын
@@RylandRussell I see! Yes I have, I have just assumed it has something to do with the antenna on the body pack, but I guess that’s not the issue then?

hi man! which one is better? this one or the Xvive u4?
@RylandRussell2 жыл бұрын
I haven’t used the xvive. But if it’s 2.4 ghz then I would say this is better.

Do you run any kind of antenna distro for these with multiple units or are you just using the built in antennas? Thanks Ryland.
@RylandRussell3 жыл бұрын
We don’t on these. We place these on stage not far from the singers/musicians. We run antenna distro on all our microphones.

I’m between this Phenyx vs Xtuga. What do you think is the better option?

Haven’t used xtuga. But we use our phenyx every week

Can you use a Phenyx wireless mike with these?
@RylandRussell2 жыл бұрын
Like use the mic with this transmitter? No, a Microphone is a transmitter and the unit is also a transmitter. Could you use the two systems simultaneously? Yes!

Sennheiser is a more professional unit for sure. Sound….not that far off.
