I do love how you just tell it like it is. You are right in saying that people should do what they want and that you don't make any excuses for what you like! I have tried to eat fairly healthily my whole life, and I have had cancer now 3 times (in fact I'm having chemo and radiotherapy at this time) the dietician told me to forget diets and worrying about eating healthily, she told me to just make sure I get my calories in so that I don't lose weight. So, while I can still eat properly (I won't be able to soon, I will have to use a feeding tube) but while I can I will be trying a lot of your food. TFS and have a great weekend! 👍💖

Hi Kerry thanks for this, ive only had my cosori for about two weeks ( my first airfryer) so i value all your lovely videos. I personally dont add oil to my frozen chips but its definitely down to everyones personal taste. Ive not tried the homemade yet but i will now ive watched you do it. I love my airfryer so far, i have health issues so i find it so much easier than using my oven and food tastes better too. Thankyou for sharing all these ideas i really appreciate you and i love your honesty and your chats :)

Watched this video earlier, I have made home-made chips before in air fryer, but never have they come up so nice. I put some lard in my fryer about the same amount as you did and copied you with the temperature and timing absolutely brilliant, came up nice and crispy soft in the centre and very very tasty. I also copied with the sea salt. Thank you very much. This is the way I shall be cooking my chips in future. Big thanks once again😋👍⚡️

I rarely have chips but, like you, I prefer to taste beef dripping, so I always have some in the fridge - usually to cook Yorkshire puds, tbh! Lol Mind you, adding some beef dripping to frozen chips, is new to me, so the next time my daughter visits, I'll tell her to cook them that way - we both love beef dripping, & don't care about using it, as we rarely eat fast food! Lol I bought a Cosori 6.4L Dual Blaze, in 2022 - it's my first, & only, Air fryer so far - I'd love the double basket one, but it would be too much with just myself for most of the time, & I can cook almost a complete meal for myself (fish n chips, or something quick & easy for me) in the Dual Blaze! 👍

Hi Kerry, I tend to steam my potato chippies first to start the cooking of the middle part of the chippie, cause putting them in water makes the whole chippie wet and the starch sticks to the outside, i then spray them with oil while they are still warmwith a 1/4 tea spoon of tumric for colour, give them a good shake, before banging the chippies in a hot tray from the air oven with a bit of 'suzy' salt on them : )

Some frozen chips have a coating, flour, corn flour, semolina something like that, that helps them crisp up. I never realised it until I did some for a person with celiac and they couldn’t have them. So home made all the way now.

Evening Kerry, I prefer homemade chips, but it depends what you're having them with also, I think. I used to peel and cut my potatoes to chips and steep them in cold water all day until ready to cook them, then pat them dry and season, then cook. Nothing beats a good "tottie chip" (homemade chip 😂). I definitely agree that adding some kind of oil to frozen chips makes a difference. Have a lovely weekend, Kerry xxxx Jacs 💚❤️

@budgetcookinguk I think it was actually you. I saw doing that the first time tbh 🤣🤣. I'm not keen on skin on, but that's just personal preference. I usually make mine in my salter as it's the bigger basket out the 3 but it has air holes in the actual basket as the basket clips into the drawer with the handle attached, so it means you have to spray the chips rather than coat them in melted lard etc. Anyway I'm waffling haha. I've emailed you back xxxx 💚❤️
