Hi Luis. We started working out seriously around 18 years old and began to see really solid results about 12 months to 18 months in. Our best advice would be to stick with it. It will take time, and there will be days when you're frustrated, burnt-out, unmotivated, etc. But just don't give up! You will be a Buff Dude.

I was born a twin. At 18 mo he died. I often wonder how different things might have been. I've always been into working out and always desired a partner, but never found someone as committed. I can't help but feel that I'd be that much further had I had one. I went to school for game design and really picked up the art side, if I had a programmer I could've made a game of my own a looong time ago. Since graduating, haven't been able to find work so I make pizza. Not a pity me story, just hearing you say "we" for everything makes me see how supportive brothers can be. 50/30/20 is insane I mean my TDEE is 2600 calories. 50% protein would be 325g of protein. This is just a waste of money and food, the body has no use for so many protein but actually need fats and carbs for energy and recover and at 20% fat hence 57g it isn't even enough for optimum health as a minimum of 0,4g per lb of bodyweight is necessary for hormone production, brain activity and so on. Even on a cut with 2200 calories, this would still be a ridicolosly high 270g protein and a seriously dangerously low 48g of fat. It's well known in the medical literatura that carb sensitivity requires a lower carb and high fat diet. An high protein, low carb and low fat diet is known as a rabbit starvation diet and it's pointless, expensive and dangerous.
@monkeymanprophecy10 жыл бұрын
Yep it is...excess protein can lead to gout...ouch....its all cool when you are young but as you age, you need to widen up and talk to a doctor before doing dumb things like that....one important organ that needs carbs is the the Brain (shit load of energy consumption)....and one organ that relies on fat is the Heart(one muscle that works out everyday all day)
@nate_840310 жыл бұрын
I agree, especially considering all the questionable additives and practices with most meat production. And of course with so much protein your turds are going to be like bricks. These guys are clearly looking good right now though.
@Kieva_Storm10 жыл бұрын
Cody Jones The liver converts excess protein to Glucose, which it makes sure the brain gets first. Also, 50/30/20 is not percent of calories. That's the macros. They do not reflect calories. Most of their calories are in the Quinoa and bread, sources of carbs.
@tomzhang564410 жыл бұрын
***** What he means is that the 50:30:20 means 50g of protein for 30g of carbs for 20g of fat, but since fat contains more than twice as many calories as carbs and protein for 2600 calories daily its 260g of protein, 156g of carbs, 104g of fat. 260g is still too much though.

how do you get bacon from turkies?
@james_rose10 жыл бұрын
It is usually made by grinding the turkey,mixing it with seasonings, and then reforming it into a shape resembling bacon. Turkey bacon more often than not has a really high sodium content, around twice that of conventional bacon, so make sure to check the sodium levels if your considering buying it.

@adonirammccarthy39949 жыл бұрын
It was the way you initially phrased it. When you said "please" it gave me the impression that you wanted them to do something for YOUR benefit. So I am left to conclude that you really meant "I would enjoy your vids more if you talk about seasonings," or "you and others will enjoy this food more if you season it." Either way the "please" gave me the impression that you were somehow asking for permission to season your food. Which is odd. Hence my comment. lol. My bad. ; )

oatmeal works for breakfast too right?
@denisd51828 жыл бұрын
it does a lot with yogurt or milk
@frankchen42298 жыл бұрын
Yes. Soak it in milk (almond tastes best if you're vegan imo. Coconut is fine but im def not a fan of cashew) and fruits. (Including berries like banana)

I don't count my macros, still very much a beginner, but I have a super similar daily diet (smaller portions of course lol) I'm 19 years old, 5'5 145lbs. I'm so glad I went into this after doing much research on dieting as well as exercise form because I'm seeing so many gains. I'm trying to get through to my friends who have a shitty diet and do nothing but bicep curls at the gym now. They've been at it for a year+ and I've already achieved more strength and mass in 3 months than most of them. New to the channel but love it already! Thanks for all the insight guys.

I don't know if you have tried cauliflower "potato salad". Just substitute cauliflower for the potatoes. Surprisingly good! This may be different in other parts of the country, but, here in the south, at every gathering, we are required to eat our body weight in potato salad. Lol. ;). Keep up the great work guys! I love these videos.

Can we keep eating eggs the whole week for breakfast cause i have heard that it is unhealthy
@ohmydisside14139 жыл бұрын
+Haroon Ishaq too much egg is unhealthy yes, but it's one of the best sources for protein so if u want to get big it helps a lot
@betaleftist92189 жыл бұрын
eggs are very unhealthy in general high in cholesterol and acidic, there are far superior sources of protein.
@TheWolffBro9 жыл бұрын
+hyperbolic fuckboi That's a full egg, with the yolk. There's boo huge downsides to just the egg whites
@nickodicko88669 жыл бұрын
Literally proven the cholesterol in eggs does not affect bad cholesterol. Eggs are a good source of it. Also, your body produces 2000mg of cholesterol on its own. You'll be fine, trust me.
@matthewforrester85159 жыл бұрын
+Haroon Ishaq Eggs have gotten a bad rap. You can eat lots and lots of eggs and have no ill side effects for most people. I eat up to 4-5 eggs every day and after getting my blood work results there are no issues whatsoever. I would highly suggest you eat the eggs whites and yolks. Egg whites are good for you but the yolks is where the overwhelming majority of your nutrients are. Don't overcook them as it will breakdown the proteins but eating both is far superior to just the whites. Most people don't understand that you need to eat fat with the protein so the body can better break it down.

You like chicken? You like protein? You like carbs? You like fiber? Throw those birds in a large pan and get em cookin. When they're done, add water and some brown rice and cover til rice is done. Throw in a can of black beans and season. If you want, sautee some peppers, onions and/or mushrooms with the chicken for added flavor and nutrients. Good stuff yo.

What are your thoughts on a diet that varies the lunch option of chicken meat with fish like tuna or tilapia? Also, I have heard that egg yellow isn't as bad, so what would be the price to pay for not avoiding it like you showed in this video? Is it deadly adverse to the effort of a good gym workout for someone that's trying to loose weight on par with gaining muscle? Finally, I see you took protein in all your meals. Would someone that is trying to loose weight want to do that? What if the evening meal is just a bowl of regular all bran (not the flakes) with almond milk every second day? Would non-fat yogurt with some fruit be another good option for the evening meal? Thanks beforehand for your response.

Great vid. One suggestion. Have you tried rinsing the Quinoa just before putting it in the pot? Quinoa naturally has a bitter coating that comes off easily just by rinsing it in a mesh strainer. And thanks for the tips on the chicken and turkey bacon! I've always thought turkey bacon was going to taste like cardboard in general. :)

This seems like a good diet to cut on, but there's no way in hell you could bulk on this, this is probably barely even 2,000 calories.

I don't get this modern eating. Eggs in a bottle, what the fuck :D I'm so happy I live in Bosnia where we still eat real eggs, like one egg has 70g or more. Fuck that bottled shit!
+Dexstazy there's still real eggs in the usa, but it's a lot quicker to use egg whites in a bottle than trying to separate the whites out of real eggs... at least that's what i do, if i want normal eggs id just buy real ones and not the bottled kind.

damn you need to be rich just to afford this diet, never mind the gym membership...
@zacharyandrew265310 жыл бұрын
Truthfully what they had just shown in this video it is pretty cheap and if you have the space i would say start a home gym it is a lot cheaper in the long run .
@nickarry10 жыл бұрын
Zachary Andrew 3 bits of meat are £10 if there's a deal, that's just 1 days worth of protein, nevermind the carbs vitamins etc... my shop has doubled in price since bulking up, i do this kind of diet, not as much as in the vid, and it has become very expensive
@zacharyandrew265310 жыл бұрын
That is pretty damn expensive i thought i had it bad where i am , Honestly i would worry more about the nutrition before you go for supplements like vitamins , But if you are going to buy them online should save you quite a bit of money . If money is tight and you really wanna eat healthy you could go with eggs and a big container of oats . Any ways i wish you luck i know how it is to live some where where every thing is expensive as hell .
