This film was a huge part of my childhood. We had ON-TV which was a primitive sort of cable TV in the late 1970's. Whenever the film was going to be playing, we were home and in front of the TV watching it.

I was 10 when i watched this film and i think it kicked my puberty in, i was just amazed by all the female dancing legs on stage, and oh yes i so fell in love with Tulula ;)

With all due respect to everyone involved, I find it overrated. I find the story tedious. The songs are difficult for children to sing. Having said that, I can see a lot of work went into it.
