Colonel, I’m intrigued in this series as to why you always seem to start laying track intersections with the outer track first, then try to squeeze the inner track (which is crossing over a track) second and always get the dreaded ‘construction not possible? Whilst I recognise your ‘unique’ building style, may i suggest trying the other way round, and saving a few mumbles, grumbles and (blasphemy!) unneeded bulldozing! Also you appear to be running trains in two directions on one piece of track... should probably do something about that 🤔 Loving the series, keep up the excellent entertainment! Cant wait to get my hands on this myself :)

Seeing that you had the money and the abiliy to quickly connect the third track at the food production plant got on my nerves. Also you maybe want to look at that station, when you configured it you didn't replace regular track with station track to maximize the length of the station. I am sure you will be able to untangle the whole thing, here's hoping you show it on video instead of just showing the finished product.

You could simply add another track to the food production station on the left side (looking from MCO towards the plant). That way you could hook Food Production Alpha to it and it wouldn't interfere with the other lines which could be sorted with a simple diamond before the station.

Bit of a shambles today! Missed using a station by Mega City One pickup with passing lines (round the outside platforms so the train turning around don't have to cross before they are up to speed) which would have avoided some junctions. Also on FD Alpha no point trying to get it onto the main track, just makes for a horrific junction!

The fix is simple, reassign the Bravo line to platform 2, you currently have it set on platform 3 hence its inability to turn around on the correct track, double check the track crossovers. Delete all the cross overs then put them back in to double check you have them correct as I believe you are missing one simple little piece from platform 2 back to 1 or similar

When you're looking at the terminal screen of a station, the colored number tells you what stop number the station is on the line. You need the white number all the way on the left to tell you what terminal the line is using.

I'm just worried that you put in to long of delivery trains at first. The amount of food that's going to be delivered to the Hub won't be enough to fill the delivery trains as long as they are till you get more delivery from the hub and probably more grain into the food factory to fill out the hub. I'm pretty sure that it takes 800 food to fill out a food factory because of the 2/1 ratio. I love your videos, Keep up the good work!!

Anyone knows if they finally implemented some "Dynamic Pathfinding"? (Double tracks, overtaking, load-balancing or something like "grouped track sections" between signals.. ) Or are we still stuck with trains just using 1 track and will wait an eternity while a completely empty track is sitting right in front of it.. (For example: multi-waypoints) Between signal group 1 and 2 they can use path A or B, and let it choose accordingly. (E.G: If track A is blocked, use switch to track B.. But always prefer the original route, this saves useless re-calculations because only the route between the signals has to be checked. Or have vehicles calculate to the next waypoint, not to the next station/stop..) -#---/\--#(1)---------------B----------------#(2)---/\---#(1)---------------B---------------#(2)---/\---#->> # = Signal \/ = Switch Crossing If this is still the crappy non-dynamic system I wont be buying :(
@vincewilson14 жыл бұрын
Just use signals and switches. People have been using double track for years.
@Baleur4 жыл бұрын
Frankly maybe you should just be planning your routes better. There is no point letting trains choose dynamically, if you set up the routes right in the first place. I dont mean to sound bitchy, but its kind of the way it is. As for this video in the end, the reason he had so much trouble was NOT because there's no dynamic switching, it was because he literally ordered his trains to all use the same non-accessible platform (he confused the terminal number with the line-stop-number). In any game, if you order units to go to a place that isnt accessible, things gonna grind to a halt.
