YES! This is what I've been looking for to make mechanical animations. Every tutorial I've found just endlessly promotes rigging with bones and such. Very imprecise, tedious and cumbersome. Great for models of living objects, I'm sure, but not for mechanical stuff.

Hey i hope you see this comment. Im trying to make like a rope simulation like a full rope that is connected like a full circle, around another obeject and the it draks it, but that is not the hardes the problem is i need it to go in to some gears so it becomes now a complex rope system and Idk How to make it? When i try it just like clips out of model and it not like simulating it?

It's great, but I'm a little bothered by that you have to make the string twice: Once as a force on the ball, and once as a string to display to the viewer. They are not connected, they are redundant, and so imperfect. .. Is there a way to do this in which the force is actually conducted by the rope displayed?
