It's great to see you back, dk! Thanks for showing all the hiccups. It makes it very relatable! I couldn't help but laugh when the little bit just snapped. Also when i do partitions like this i push them in from the back.

Haven't seen anything from you lately, but this is a really nice build~! Great color~! Seeing the router bit snapping off the end piece of the drawer front gave me the "I'm not alone" feeling. Also happy to see that the router bit snapping off didn't go far. Creates the same sick feeling as when a band saw blade snaps. Hoping to see more of your content this year~!

I really liked the use of the block plane for trimming the edge banding. I have tried all kinds of ways and I usually end up with a tear somewhere in the process. I am going to try the block plane next time. Thank you.
@dkbuilds8 күн бұрын
Thanks, it's my favorite method of trimming edge banding. Just make sure the banding is fully cool/dried, otherwise glue ends up on the bottom of the block plane (which is easy to clean off, just annoying).

See boys, even the greats mess up sometimes. I don't film mine because most of the time it'd be the same 10 mistakes over and over and over and over and over... Great vid bud.

In Yoda voice: "Knows the awl trick, he does." I felt every single goof, having lived them myself at some point. I have to ask - dovetailing plywood... practice? Or, if you can dovetail plywood, you can dovetail anything? Like to know, I would.
