something about the gigantic bridge in the middle of a big open plain is so.. cinematic. The mountain needs to be way bigger. Instead of it leading up to in a steep way, I think it needs to lead more into the bridge. I know it is a massive, MASSIVE, undertaking, but large mountain peaks, backing the the bridge and extending your current mountain would not only focus the towers and bridge, but make the whole scene look more natural. Dont get me wrong, what you already have is way more than I could ever do and it is beautiful! Looking forward to see your progress with this project 😊

For the tower: the spiralic stairway. If you want it to be historically accurate it should spin the opposite way. This is so that if the place gets attacked, the people at the top would have a advantage since their sword hand would not be against the spiral wall. And also it would be the opposite for the opponent. Now your stairway gives the advantage to the invader.

The spiral stairway is the wrong way round. The defenders are usually fighting their way down from a tower and with the right arm being the sword arm they would benefit hugely from the free range, while the attackers would have a way harder time swinging their swords going up with the middle pillar being in the way. Those medieval architects were absolutely briliant!

Having a lot of the regular stone blocks at the base of the cliffs looks good actually. When creating the effect of forced perspective, artists trick our eyes by using darker colors for things they want to appear closer, and getting lighter in color to look further away. The mountain looks massive!

been very excited to see how this massive build will come out. thinking back to hermitcraft s7's castle, i always loved that build with its size (the entire base was certainly a favorite) but seeing this scale instead is just insane. there are a lot of people out there making 'mega' builds, and ive enjoyed your focus on smaller scale (but often 'big' in terms of territory, ex. being villages with many houses), but no surprise seeing you tackle bigger and bigger builds still has me in love with every way you go about building! because i feel like whats often missed with mega builds is some of that intense detailing and texture work you often do- it is a lot of work, and you need to have the eye for making it happen in a way that makes sense and looks good. been looking forward to every episode of this series for sure, and you've made a shocking amount of progress imo- cant imagine the many hours going into this and all the material gathering too. also! forgot to say how much i have always loved the branding, this one is no different. jay has done a fantastic job as always. about that livestream... yes, i think i recall, there was no time to get those wings with how long it took to figure out where the dang portal was haha :P

Seeing stuff that i learned in graphic design school being done in minecraft is satisfying. Most of the time poeple build really cool stuff but dont think about the composition and colorpallets and distance making their build just cool (which is fine). Now that bdubs is applying that these builds are really getting alive and feel like they belong.
