Very entertaining video and I love your workmanship. In the industry for 30 years and still picking up subtle tricks like the full carbide router bits i have not dabbled with yet. Your customers are going to be very pleased with this amazing piece. Well down.

Love your work Andy. Some day down the road if I can afford to, I'll be ordering one of your tables. You'll have to ship to Ontario, Canada then! I've been following you for a couple of years, great job as always!

Beautiful table, Andy. I'm envious of the folks receiving it (I wouldn't have room for it). Glad Robert is working out so well. He's even making his mark with jigs and handiwork. Stay safe. Bill

Nice drawbore. I’m gonna do a video of that on the base of my split top Roubo bench that I’m in the middle of right now. Another good video Andy and Robert. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

Jig's are key to production, we probably have 100+ jigs at Gary Weeks shop. If the jig works well, refine it and build it to last. also good to label it and write instructions directly on it.

I’ve always admired Gary’s ability to take something as complicated as a rocking chair and dial in the process with such finesse. Great advice…I appreciate the comment!

You used the cnc with the angle jig for your mortise, why not then use a surfacing bit to plane off your taper waste saving the bandsaw and planer step?
@AndyRawls2 жыл бұрын
That’s actually a great idea! It’s a different angle but not by much would be easy to shim it out.
@toddfisher2335 Жыл бұрын
Awesome! Does the tapering jig also help with any snipe issues on the planer?

How did you crate it and ship it?
@AndyRawls2 жыл бұрын
I use a white glove shipping service. They pick it up, blanket wrap it, ship it and carry it into the house.
