On the headlights. You shouldn’t use LED in reflector housings, all it does is scatter the light and you blind oncoming drivers. I would’ve put in projector style housings. Otherwise, another great video!
@rythemzlatin
@rythemzlatin Жыл бұрын
Yeah: DEFINITELY Triple-check the pattern by 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶 taking a hike across the parking lot+ , at least 100' & 300' away to see if they are blinding. Many knock-offs ADD more LEDs for "Bragging rights" , but they end up being a LARGER AREA than the OEM filament , & out of focus of the reflector , scattering blinding light willy nilly. And sadly , virtually EVERY marketing dept. _DOESN'T_ know how sell technical products , so it's hard to know WHAT you're going to get 😕 . I started scouring YT channels last year , but never finished or upgraded yet. A bunch of the review channels are a joke , but there ACTUALLY ARE a FEW GOOD ones that do XLNT before/after , side-by-side , "oncoming" , etc. segments. Personally , I figure i'll end up with a half-dozen sets before i'm satisfied , repurposing the no-go's as Work Lights on the truck , & probably fabricating some vertical louvres on the brushbar ( keeping the beam straight ahead & to the Right , and semi-shielding the oncoming drivers , even if i'm satisfied with a "good" pattern , top 2/3 Louvred , bottom 1/3 unobstructed -ish ) . The more expensive alternative is to buy a WHOLE ENGINEERED ASSEMBLY , but 💰 Y💸I💸K💸E💸S 💰 !🤯! ) maybe for my camper van , but the truck gets the cheaper solution !

Great channel Robby and the gang! I watch regularly. I’ve been combing the comments to see if there was info on those LED lights. I really want to find a good quality LED conversion for my 2013 challenger. I’ve been through three sets and within a year, all of them ended up strobing, or giving out completely. Any suggestions? TIA.

I can't remember what year Aidens truck is but like between 98 or 99 they upgraded the fuel injection from sequential port to multi port injection and it gives that 4.3 a considerable hp gain and made it more fuel effiecient. Best part is it's a plug and play conversion and only takes a few hours at most to install. I did it to my brothers 96 and he was very happy with it. I think I got the fuel injection spider from amazon for like about $200.
