Building DIY ebike battery from 18650 cells (15s4p, 54v) for 1000w Ebay rear hub kit

Taking you though the process of building a battery pack for my ebike. Spoiler, It turned out great! Keep in mind that I am not a pro and just a guy on youtube, so do your own research and stay safe!

15S 4p it won't last long. I have a 14s 13p battery pack on my ebike. They are real 3.7v 26f Samsung batteries homemade I also made aluminium battery box. And I feel like i needs more batteries. The ebike has a 1000 Watt hub motor. with modded controller to 1500w. Yes your battery pack is a 15s 4p but with less batteries. The power sag it will work like a 13s. When it's fully charged it will be good for a few minutes

What you did is interesting, battery, the only problem is that it cannot be interpreted in any existing DC system, at least at the ebike level. Because 48v (13s), 52v (14s) 15s (there is no such thing) 60volt (16s) ...etc.

That. Is the sweetest looking mongoose...battery box looks epic... excited for top speed and range test.!. Would really like to know range if consistently ran at full speed as i am getting this ebike.kit soon and wish to ride my bike 20miles to work. Haha. Also... how is it pedal assist and throttle... do u have to change between the modes... Or is throttle available while it pedal assists. Thanks for the sweet video awaiting the ride update.!.

Why have you got a discharge rate of 60A? you have 4 in parallel with 20A discharge, shouldn't it be 80A?

Hey, I've got a question: You said the current of the batterie packs are 60A but the controller limits the current as far as I know to 20A. So you don't need to buy a BMS with a maximum current of 60A and double weld the nickel strips. Or am I wrong? greets from Germany :)
