Love it! You and your family should all be proud of this incredible project. What a wonderful bonding experience for you (and what a way to build muscles!) Love the lucky project manager who gets to sit in the shade while overseeing the big picture. The pallet on the forklift as make-shift scaffold freaked me out a little, but it certainly served the purpose. I'm so glad you showed the raising of the supports; the rest can be imagined, but it was impressive to see how easy you made that look. I'm enjoying your accomplishment vicariously! Looking forward to seeing more.

Dang looks good I had a vision of this idea and then seeing you do it on KZbin but there no way I could pull this off. Probably do a metal barn kit when it’s time

Love the barn build and it looks like you have some great kids. I'm curious. What kind of wood was used for the base beams laying on the cement slab? Was it treated?
@daddykirbs Жыл бұрын
Thank you. That was cedar untreated.

It took a little time to study the plans and the parts received but it seemed to come together nicely.

I'm glad you are interested in Sand Creek Post and Beam barns! My experience with them has been excellent. I cannot answer questions of costs because every job is so different. Give them a call! They are very kind and will be happy to hear from you.

I don't believe so. It seems pretty normal with this type of construction.

@@daddykirbs No those splits are called checking and is completely normal and safe and sound . It actually adds character to the wood
