Cool video. I'm waiting for parts in the mail and am looking for to trying out AMD for the first time. I built an AMSD rig for my wife 5 years ago, but ive always been intel/nvidia the last 15 years or so.

Thanks. Yea my build is done now and i am testing out VR games mainly. so far the results are positive though some of the 2D games ive tried there hasnt been a huge difference at all.

Having extra 3d v L3 cach for gaming is awesome! I get higher 1% lows and more stable gameplay (less lag/fps drops and such) in my experience, coming from 2 Intel i7 build's. But i play in 1080p and 1440p.

@@bergdk237 that has sort of been my experience as well. Though at higher frame rates the results look much closer. Almost negligible

You should see a difference in performance even in 4k in title like black myth wukong.

Yes i believe you are right. there are some titles ive tried already and noticed a 15% increase performance in 4K like Calisto Protocol for example. and there are others that there barely is any difference at all. Like Hogwarts Legacy

@@PMangelfire thanks for your comment. I should be doing another video here soon but from my early experience so far my vr performance appears smoother and I’m staying locked in at 90 more consistently in AMS 2 with most details turned up. I think I’m seeing about a 15 % bump in performance

So it appears that no one is really interested in the cooler giveaway cause no one had mentioned anything about it 10 days in. Am i right to assume this?
