@@biedronkowestalkere5069 I have seen some Dell systems that used non-standard connectors and oddly sized components. Plus some Dell cases are difficult to cool. The warranty is less of a problem. Consider going used. I just picked up an i5 4440, 8gb ddr3 and a motherboard bundle for $120 today, and while older, the i5 has 4 cores and will perform better in some games over the 3000g. I'm pairing it with an RX 480 I got for $130 second hand, and the PC should offer reasonable performance for $250. Dell Optiplex machines with i5 CPUs can be found for $100-150 US depending on amount of ram and hard drive capacity. Throw in a new psu and used graphics card like the RX 470/480, and it'll offer better performance than the athlon and RX 550 for the around the same price.

On the Fortnite part when you questioned on if the stutters were the memory frequency or the CPU, it's most certainly the CPU. Fortnite has shown to dislike dual core. Built my cousin a build that included an Athlon 3000G and 8GB RAM @ 2400MHz (We found out it was only running at 2133 though, fixed that later after we swapped CPUs) and it was a stutter fest at the most important fights. Changed it out to a Ryzen 5 1600AF and it ran as smooth as it should at 144fps also clocked the RAM to 2400MHz and expanded it to 16GB. While it was at 2133 it was just fine, so it really must be the CPU. I think Fortnite is CPU bound so dual is a no-no

I just built a very similar build for my son since his PS4 died. The only difference was I used an Athlon 220g instead of the 3000. Nice review :) At the moment, due to the pandemic (and working from home), the prices of all PC components (especially for anything decent) is going through the roof at present - and going for a used system might be a better idea. But even the low end right now is still a decent choice; my parents have a HP Pavilion laptop with terrible AMD E2-1800 CPU, and of course, performance is terrible. This machine would be a massive improvement over the E2! Also, this machine had no storage (unless you used your standard 1TB SSD?) but you can get 500GB HDDs off eBay cheaply. In fact, although not new, if you need storage in a hurry, buy a cheap Sky+HD box, and disassemble it to find a 500GB hard drive. :)

Red dragon isn't powercolor's lowest tier so the gpu might do well too. I wonder if this PC is better than mine. I have the FX8320 at 3.5GHz, MSI 970 gaming motherboard, Radeon HD 7950 Twin Frozr III 3GB GPU, and 16GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM at 1866MHz. My system runs most games at medium settings (No CPU overclock because I don't have an aftermarket cooler yet). Some games need low settings for better FPS but for the most part it performs good enough for the games I play. Would I recommend my setup? Only if you can get the above parts for a very low price and want a computer now while being on a tight budget. I priced out the above parts on Ebay and it came to a total of $288 with free shipping on all parts. The GPU I found was a 7850 model but is 3GB so the difference in performance versus the 7950 model should be minimal. After buying a power supply and case you would be looking at spending between $350 and $400 (maybe less if you were to buy a cheaper case). For $400 you can get a much faster system with the possibility to upgrade it in the future. I got the processor, motherboard, GPU, and RAM for free from a friend so all I had to buy was the case and power supply which cost me just over $80. I'm using this system until I can upgrade to a modern computer in the next year or two (keeping fingers crossed).

I have a RX 550 4GB paired with a Core 2 Quad Q9500 (OC to 3.5Ghz) I can run Far Cry 5 at 30fps on average, high settings at 1600x900 and sometimes i would even reach 60 fps. MGSV was between 45 and 65 GTA V on single player is between 40 and 60 but in online its a 30 fps average.

I'm going to get a RX550 2gb LP as the other options are quite expensive and all I really want to play is BeamNG.drive, even on low settings. I also just want to play some other games that aren't too intensive, like portal 2. Portal 2 lags a little on the PC I'll be putting it in right now. the PC's current specs: Dell Optiplex 3010 SFF, Intel Core i3-3220, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Ubuntu 20.04. I'll be upgrading it to: Dell Optiplex 3010 SFF (again), Intel Core i3-3220 (again), either 8 or 16gb ram, a SSD, AMD Radeon RX550 2GB LP, and Ubuntu 20.04 (same install, again!) plus Windows 10 Pro. I just want to revive the machine. And breathe some new life into it.

You didn't really need the graphics card with that build. I used some noname 2400mhz ram (£29.99) and on my a320 board (£39.99) I managed to overclock the ram to 2999mhz, and overclock the graphics on the cpu to the settings you suggested in your previous review. The CPU cannot be overclocked on this board. I Used a £19 120gb ssd. My case was a new old stock £22 on ebay with built in 250watt power supply- This was perfect for a 35w cpu (£49.99). As a cooler I used the £8.99 AM4 Arctic Alpine passive cooler (Silent) and maxed out 50-60 degrees flat out. I only play World of Warcraft and get 30-50fps on graphics detail 4. It will dip to 20-25fps in raids but doesn't seem to lag and fully playable at 1080p. Oh, and windows 10 was £3.99 for an OEM key on ebay. bargain!

Build a new ish pc for my son. Aero bolt mini case 30$ amazon ASRock pro4 b450m 50$ ebay used Ryzen 5 1400 50$ locally 50$ used xfx Rx 560 4gb 50$ locally DDR4 3000mhz 8gb 49$ amazon Ssd 60gb just for Windows & 1tb 2.5 hdd 40$ locally 450w corsair psu 32$ I haven't put it together but should run any game at 50-60 fps and should keep running and has plenty of upgrade potential. For upgrade paths IMO buy a decent motherboard and psu. Cpu,gpu, ram, storage, and case can always be upgraded by swapping parts. But if you buy a decent psu and mobo you won't really have to take everything apart. Also try to buy 1 part at a time. And always be on the look out for local things you can pick up.

My recent upgrade was from an ebay company called CCL, bought a Ryzen 5, 8 gigs of ram and a mobo for £200ish delivered. OK the mobo isn't the greatest but its sturdy, the chip is last gen Ryzen but its a 5 so no biggie there and the ram is just a stick of generic DDR4 and well with the RX570 8gb I haven't found anything I can't run straight out the box and my main game World of Warcraft:Shadowlands looks abs stunning at full maxed settings. Forza 4 looks astonishing, and it set itself auto medium to high across the board but where it shines is Davinci Resolve, no more 20 mins rendering as it was on my Vishera build, half an hours vid done in under 5 mins suits me fine, only thing to do is migrate hard drives to a M.2 and a bulk HDD which waiting for january sales for that one as I want a 1tb SSD and a 4+ bulk HDD for putting slow stuff on. I paid less than the 550's £75 for my 570 with 8 gigaroonies on board, meanwhile the 10xx nVidia people are beginning to notice support from nVidia is beginning to slow down as their not so long ago cutting edge vid cards are being cycled towards legacy hehe /smug smirk ;) nVidia is just too greedy and too quick to make obsolete perfectly viable video cards whilst my 570 just loves it being all super supported by AMD.

if you want to further cheap out on the parts, i would recommend AVF/Alcatroz casings + PSU bundles, 25$ for casing and PSU(alcatroz even include a 100mm exhaust fan in some casing). RX 550 has 2gb variant, although not recommended. you can cut another 40$ from this 2 deductions. If you're serious on gaming, it's wise to spend another 50$ to upgrade to i3-10100f+h410 combo, another 100$ for GTX 1650.

2:46 if you had grabbed the Yeston or Sapphire 4gb model, those use the Polaris 21 GPU, and have 640 shaders vs that Red Dragon's 512 SPs i own a Yeston, i can run Witcher III on a mix of mostly High settings in 1080p with vsync set to 60 fps max. smooth as butter with an i7 2600S and 8gb ddr3 ;) Some games will even run in 4K with it, no issue! that card is brand new for many times the same price as the Red Dragon

Not bad, I'm watching this on my budget PC under £300 with new parts, 2200g @3.5Ghz with 16GB 3200 RAM & ssd. Plays Skyrim SE on high (at 1080p) Assetto Corsa's benchmark is over 30fps on standard settings (at 720p) Elite Dangerous on max settings too. In my next comment I'll let you know how it handles The Witcher 3 (need to download it first)

My "gaming setup" : Phenom x4 965 3.4 GHz = overclocked to 3.8Ghz(you can get like 4 or 4.1 but the heat ;D and i have a fcking old mainboard) 1050ti 4gb oc version ddr5 8gb (2x4 dual) ddr3 mainboard : ms-7646 it´s not like this setup can´t run games but it reaches it limits in 2020. Games like kakarot are playable in 1080p with 60 fps (sometimes drop to 55 in battles ), or LOL , CS.Go , Tale of Berseria and so on . But everything new that may have some more details will kill the system :.especially the cpu is a problem here but i can´t upgrade it cause my mainboard is so old = RIP ME Edit : i wrote this cause i thougt it maybe would be interesting for you. you said in one of your videos that you like the "low budget gaming idea" and well this is it :D Edit: Edit : sry for my wrong spelling here and there but english isn´t my native language

The cheapest pc I've ever put together was 120 bucks total, A PC with Q6600, PSU, Mobo, and RAM = 20 Dollars, GTX 650 = 40 Dollars, and an UpHere Water Cooler = 60 Dollars (Mainly for aesthetics but keeps the Q6600 very cool) Currently use it as a secondary streaming pc, runs 720p60 great!

I'm limited in budget and currently using xeon e5450 4gb ram g31m gigabyte mobo. The only current possible "upgrade" choices for me are asus p5q pro turbo p45 chipset ram up to 16gb or x58 mobo with xeon cpus. Which one should I choose? Thanks.

so, you would be better going with a 3400g/B450m DS3H(4 dimm slots)/16GB 3000Mhz build for a similar price? would cost around the same and adding a graphics card down the line will be much more powerful, overclocking the graphics to 1650Mhz will net you almost identical performance to the RX550, even more in some cases.

Maybe you should concentrate on builds and parts that people SHOULD actually try to buy? Your content seems to be changing to. "what random component that no one with good knowledge would ever go out , search for, and build a pc with." perhaps make a second channel "Gaming on Random Garbage hardware" Buying NEW parts, at the low end, is UNIVERSALLY a bad idea. used parts for budget builds will almost ALWAYS be better in performance.(A used FX8350 with a used Radeon 480 would Grotesquely Destroy this setup.)

All the 2200g/2400g and 3200g/3400g seem to slowly vanish now. At most german retailers they went out of stock and probably will not return ever. Amazon prices are rising since last week as well. Still those are very capable APUs. I was very surprised by the performance.

Just as a sidenote here - please avoid using Aerocool power supplies. They may make good fans, cases and some other stuff, but for their PSUs they go to Andyson. The stuff inside the Cylon you bought is made by them. They're the OEM. But the quality they provide is... not good. The Aerocool KCAS lineup of units has a defect when the PFC can be opened at the wrong time and cause an explosion in the power supply unit. The VX series is fire. Literally. It can go on fire. Please keep this in mind if you plan to do any more builds with PSUs sold by Aerocool. You must not.
