This will be interesting for me bc one of my friends has a crx (180sx swapped) and I have an 07 gti fahrenheit project car with (you guessed it) cam timing issues, luckily mine skipped a tooth and didn't shatter the chain and lock up! Melted 2 plugs tho..... Valves should be ok in mine!

I’ve owned my 91 EF since 1997. I sold my first car I bought when I was 16Y a 1987 Honda Prelude SE for the EF. I still have it. It’s OEM except for amber corner lenses and 1992 GS-R DA Integra wheels. Only issue is the clear coat peeling so I’m hoping to invest in a ultra high quality durable paint job. The EF is the Golden Chassis.

The ea113 motors can make around 350 with an off the shelf tune with just a used ko4, s3/r injectors, upgraded hpfp, catless down pipe, intake and s3/r intercooler. Also, the gli has a dct so it’ll have launch control and it’ll change gears faster

There are many other ways to go fast on a budget cars without using Japanese cars. Fox bodies are actually still affordable with a simple turbo setup and tires or nitrous and tires.

Those seats in the EF hatch are from a Del Sol if anyone was wondering. So they are Honda OEM seats, just not fitted into the EF very well.

Yall have alot of work ahead of you. Biggest things yall need to fine out are what size injectors you have, what size fuel pump yall running. What are the condition of the axles? Being that yall are gonna be on a track and it will be sticky, be very careful not to dead hook because you will snap those axles in two. And plus what bottom end do yall have, do you have a b18 bottom end or a b20 bottom, what head is on top?

U can try run the gearbox with sae40 oil, for better performance of the transmission without lsd A 5w40 oil runs pretty good compared to 75w90 gear oil, smoother shifting, better lubrication, less stress on the sleeve and synchro, less chance of miss shifting We usually run this on touge 30 minutes of mountain roads and high revving and down shifting, it took more abuse We change the oil once every 40k
