When I had my STI the previous owner welded mocked up glass pack pipe as a mid pipe. Had to pull it off and throw a new exhaust on, but before I could the old hangers broke so I just tore the exhaust off. SO LOUD and that was just going through and Invidia downpipe so the evo sounds very close

Not a fan of the hood exist but it's your car and you can do what ever you like. I would do a hood exit on the black spare parts evo when you build that into a race or track car one day or next project.
