@@docimma the biggest hurdle I keep hearing about is land rights. You gotta make sure your property is verified by the courts prior to purchase so you need a lawyer to do a formal inquiry. But you can petition for citizenship under Right To Abode and have all legal land rights. Just remember that people are people and conduct yourself accordingly.

@@alyciagordon3447 Generally, investing requires higher knowledge. For this reason, It's important to have a solid support structure (financial consultant) to guide you through especially in asset picking. I operate with (Alexandra Diana Jose) a consultant who partners with a licensed wealth management firm. For the record, the experience has been the best for my finance. She made me financially stable investing through her help, now I earn on a monthly basis through her passive income strategy... So I'd advise you do get a good investment advisor for yourself. .

She made me understand every aspect of personal financial planning and how each section is important from emergency fund management to forecasting future goals and including insurance planning, Without her, I would have thought of goal-oriented future planning of all sides and insurance requirements for a family which would have lead to a difficult path in future. This is a man I could do business with, not to mention his cost saving uncle,WOW!! What he has done is extremely impressive. I could definitely see my family & I living in that house. The only things that stop me from starting is the problems of corruption, paying off ppl like land guards, getting cheated @ market bcuz your not native to the land, etc. You definitely have to do your due diligence & research the country , customs, traditions & problems b4 you decide to build & live there. Barring all of that the house , land & view are magnificent & the itemization of the costs was greatly appreciated. Only thing missing is giving a shout out about the contractors used in the building process. Great video!

Currently building a learning/training center with a team of professional Ghanaians masonries, although I’m from USA. And vendors selling building materials. I am glad you interviewed Mr Kingsley. He is correct, keeping your budget and track of your spend is very much worth it. It really is like this. The more you keep track of your budget the better it is so you can place money elsewhere. This guy knows what he is doing truly. It is good practice to keep track of your spending on your build and or home and keep them on a spreadsheet also. This has been a regular practice of mine since the 90s tbh. This man is not messing around, and I love it. He is very informative. Any extra money can go into other things within the build. Brilliant video again Amoaa, I shall share this with my project designers and builders, it is our thing totally. My local hire shop has been a blessing, however he is correct, where you can buy items that will be useful on the project long-term or another project then yes, worth buying it. I too plan my own projects using a simple drawing software which I then send to CAD designers/planners friends who plot and map-out the sizes accordingly so I can have a look at what I have designed in a more in-depth way and move/add things around. I watched the atrium parlava and it worked out brilliant with the changes. The door cost roughly the same as my glass door, so that is a reasonable price, more inline with prices where I live. Intrigued to see how much the pillars cost. Otherwise, this is a build I watch from time to time. Very impressive. Couldn't take in all the beautiful views because my screen constantly fuzzes in and out. However, I am sure they are beautiful. Thank you Kingsley for sharing your personal space/build/project with us. P.E.A.C.E

This is a beautiful home. I would love to see the finished product. It's funny. I never would have associated a home such as this with Ghana. I had heard a few friends talking about retiring and moving to Ghana. I could definitely do this, and the owner is a very knowledgeable and hands on involved in the construction, which is a wonderful thing. He knows when something doesn't look right. I was laughing at the part about the neighbors complaining about flooding. I guess wherever you go you're going to have some slick neighbors. Trying to get him to be responsible for a problem that was pre-existing. The owner has exquisite taste in tile, granite, design, etc. I'm curious to know about the windows. Where I live, bars are illegal due to fire safety regulations. Can bars such as those be opened from the inside during an emergency? Once again. Beautiful home.

When we lived in Accra, our house was on about 2 acres, I think on Second Circular Road. The house was elevated, in that you could walk underneath it if you bent over. About 4 feet. Our watchman would park his bike underneath the house. There were many support columns underneath where we would chain up the dog away from the sun. You have a nice custom designed house.
