This isnt meant as an insult, but with all the fiberglass work you have under your belt, why on earth did you not fiberglass that headliner board together so it was seamless?

while i cant speak for him, i can speak for the majority of people when i say there is a difference between "having a project car for over a year" and "working on a project car for over a year". not to mention, youtubers have lives and families they tend to. i would assume hes either burnt out and/or cant justify the time he would spend

@@austinrobertson6940 well the time to simply tape.that together on one side, and then wet it with resin and lay fiberglass mat down isn't a long or drawn out process. I very clearly can see he is tired of this thing, but I see all the cut corners coming back to bite him and cost more money. I've watched hos channel for years and he did way way better work and way more effort put in when it was just for fun and for him. Again this isn't meant as an insult, but us OG subscribers know he is better than this.

@@sinformanti agree with you for sure. the creativity you mentioned is why i started watching this channel years ago. and it would look better and doesnt take that much more time, but maybe the owner is running out of money and needs to keep material cost and labor cost down as well. we all know hes more than capable, im just saying im sure theres a good reason for not doing it lol

I would love to see you wide body that subaru that was always in the background at your old shop. Or finish the Fatsun. Or a custom wide body side by side. Lots to think about

Well done :) I suggest picking a smaller and easier project next time, you can still make diy videos and show us how you fix stuff, without having to spend a whole year fixing something like this. Just something simple like any Toyota that wont have tons of wierd issues.

Can't relate to pretty much anything on any of your builds but damn i still love watching. Haha. Who knows if i ever will need this knowledge. Can't hurt watching. I found your channel back in the ig mr2 days btw cause i owned one at the time. "Edit this car came out when i was 2" lol. N if u care my first car was a 91 accord coupe replaced pretty much everything! Before i even drove it" full exhaust wiring harness for the engine windshield suspension bushings radio lights n timing belt... but hey the car was "free to me" lol

Howdy Sir, please make sure those switches are rated for 30 amps each or they will burn out. I made my own many years ago because I was frustrated with the OEM Land Rover switches which are actually Mercedes switches. Since there is not relay between the switches and each 30 amp seat motor, the switch needs to be able to handle the full load. A lesser switch will make the magic smoke come out. 😉 I have a write up on this and another for the rebuild of the OEM switches as well. I will link them below.

I wouldn't mind some smaller jobs friends cars or something. Something like we put new brakes, wheels, and flares on this car. That could go for a few episodes. Then maybe switch back to the Fatsun or the race car for an episode or 2 . Then go back to another smaller job, like putting and exhaust, painting and fitting a front spoiler to another car. Then go back to longer term projects. Also a fleet update would be cool. Do you still have the corolla?
