BuiltRight Industries Tech Plate - Center Console Install

My Tech Plate install was not as seamless as shown in your video. I lined up the plate just like you did, drilled the holes, used the tallest spacers in the kit. Reinstalling plastic liner went smoothly until the bottom two clips, which would not snap back in to place. I needed to trim off two pieces of the honeycomb under the lid, not sure if it was because of bolt length or a combination of nut and bolt. After trimming off a bit of the honeycomb the bottom snapped in to place completing my install. I am very pleased the the fit and finish of this 7.5” x 10” Tech Plate, it looks great.

Will this work with the Convenience Package for the newer F 150? I have a 2022 Raptor and the center console folds outward to create a flat work space. Thank you

Hey Jason, while we haven't test fit this in a convenience package ourselves yet, it should work in most full-size trucks with a 10x7.5" flat surface in the center console. That being said, different hardware may be needed to accommodate for the shallower depth of the armrest where it folds out. If you're up for it, we always recommend giving it a shot! Any chance of coming out with some sort of "L" bracket that would integrate with the seat back tech plate, which would allow the ability to mount this 10x7.5 plate vertical behind the headrest? I want to mount my trauma kit to the back of the headrest, but can't stand the look of strapping the molle plate to it.

Do you have a tech plate small enough for the center console lid of a Ford Ranger?

Hey Jeff, while we haven't test fit this tech plate in a Ranger ourselves yet, we're assuming it will be a bit too big for your center console. It measures in at 10"x7.5", so if you're able to get something flat that size in there, it may be worth a shot! Please let us know if you do install it, if it's too big they work great in tight storage spaces around the house/garage.
