Good video, However I was surprised they thought a " donut stick" was something new??? Been around for 100 years! Used to watch my grandmother back in 50's . The correct way to use it , is to weave it though 1/2 dozen center holes of the dough, then over to the frypan put your hand behind first one on stick push them all into hot fat. When the donut is cook on one side just tap to outside of it and it will turn over instantly. When that side is done again weave the stick thru the centers and bring them all back over to a biscuit tin at the same time, reverse the process by putting your finger against the first one and push them all off the stick into the pan at same time! Reason they flip over by simply taping the outside edge is their center of gravity changes as they cook. Lots more to a donut stick then what meets the eye.😊

Hey Joe remember that you have an extra 5” of track width for floatation on your expedition over the tundra’s. The tundra’s only have a 15” wide track. Pin it to win it and don’t let off. Studs in the track are also a lifesaver because the rubber obviously doesn’t bite in the ice under the slushy water.

Many moons ago, after burying my snowsled in slush near Mt. Kineo, Master Guide Bob Lawerance, with one hand pulled my snowmobile out and threw it on dry snow. Something I 'used to' be able to do, but with two hands.
@johnmooreii2381 Жыл бұрын
Might I ask what kind of sled?
@JoeHollandFishing Жыл бұрын
Definitely harder with these big sleds
@capturehishonor9292 Жыл бұрын
@@johnmooreii2381 That was a long time ago. I don't remember the make and model. But it was a full-size sled buried in slush. Although Bob was a master guide and now retired, he was a big guy. For anyone who has loaded large pulpwood on a flatbed, lifting a sled is no problem (a few of you out there might know what I am talking about). I knew loggers who have cleaned out bars and the town police force single-handedly. One of these was my late uncle. My best friend's father could lift a workhorse on his back while its shoes were changed. His brother could lift a fully loaded, 3/4-ton pickup from the rear bumper while the tire was changed. These were not your average office pogs. I suspect, also bygones days.
