I'm a non aikidoka, but I'm mainly a striker (bareknuckle boxing, karate, leth wei, kali, wing chun and some grappling from wrestling, shin na, judo, jujutsu, aikido) and I'm researching aikido to make it effective against mma, could you show me the forms of some blocks and parries from aikido? I will analyze and test the motions

What are the differences between this style and Tenshin? They appear very similar...

@Complete 180k9 Training: short answer: Execution, techniques, movements, torque. Long answer: I know they look very similar, but they are executed differently. For instance, sayunage. In Tenshin, this is taught as a backfist to the face into the throw. In Bushikan it torques the head and shoulder against each other- into a throw. It will look the same from the sideline, but the uke will feel a very distinct difference.

Every time I see aikido I wonder where's aiki in techniques. Is there any?

@Vano If you are looking for lovey-dovey, hippy Aikido, you are in the wrong place.
