This is a great kzbin.infoUgkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE monocular. It adjusts easily and works well in most conditions. I attached a pic of the view through my phone (iPhone 13 max pro). With some more adjustments it would probably be fine. I would just use this by holding up to my eye and forget trying to capture pics through my phone. It comes with an attachment piece to your phone, a tripod, a lanyard, cleaning cloth and a holster that can be worn on your belt. Overall the image quality is good.

I tried this out yesterday. I would say the apparatus is fine for 50meters, max 75. I do not understand what kind of conditions they had claiming it works out to 200m. It doesn't.

I just got mine today. Hubs has gone on a night schedule and the dogs have really been going off around midnight-2am the last two weeks. I just want to know: two legged varmints, or four? Tonight we shall find out! Thank you!

How did it go? And do you live near woods? I ask because of the time period. That's an activity time for a certain animal you and your dogs don't want anything to do with.

@@Mike-gi1dk We did have woods next to our property until developers gave us 96 new lots for $400K neighbors. All I have seen so far are rabbits. The dogs do their best to put the message out that this is a red zone for them, since we're about to put our garden in. The Equinox works great and I'm very happy with it.

I bought this. And I sent it back. Trying to use this at night is gonna cost u damage to your eyes. U gonna stare into it for 30seconds, ,blasting sharp light into your eye and end up having a temporary black out in the eye. There is actually no use for this - I needed a little surveillance operation, some ashole is doing holes in my fencing. There is absolutely no way to set it up on your garden -the zoom is too strong. It might be good if u wanna record a cockroach on your neighbors wall, but u can't simply use it as a camera.

It requires the illuminator to function at night. Without any IR light it will not work. There are different brightness settings as well. The video was done using the medium setting. The pic rail is for any attachments you wish to add.

@@extremegear also depends on the IR wavelengths, if it´s above 900 nm it should not be visible to humans. But cheaper gadgets doesn´t avoid light below that wavelength. So I was wondering same topic as well

From the front I don't know. But it requires correct handling of the gear to not get revealed from the light coming out of where you put your eye. Either you turn the NV on and off while looking in it or you slide it close to you/put your other hand on it when putting it down.

@@extremegear ambient light will let you see it without the IR light on you don’t have to have the IR light on to see if you have some kind of external light, stars, moon, etc.
