Going dark with the Bushnell Equinox X650

Received this night vision unit in the shop and had to take it home to test it out. One of the best best budget night vision monoculars I have tried.

nope all bushnell equinox series have DIGITAL night vision these CAN NOT Burn out thats why we can use them in daylight too all equinox series i own 3 different ones are able to be used as REGULAR MONOCULARS in daylight and night vision at niht

The cover is to use it during light without damaging the sensor

You might want to cut down on the coffee or use a tripod :D The shaking is more intense than in action movies.

Just thinking about fox hunting at night on the farm. Could I mount it with the pic rail to my Sulun Tac 12 and it be effective to view through the eye visor for that purpose?

I couldn't tell you to be honest. Its designed as a stand alone piece, so it probably would not be ideal. Not to mention the shock from the shotgun when firing.

Anybody had any issues with the device having an audible light "chirping" sound? Maybe mine is defective but during video review of a test-run, the microphone picked up its Chirping noise and its maddening!

no bushnell does not sell THERMAL only NIGHT VISION you want good THERMAL in the 600 range get the SEEK REVEAL or FLIR K1
