Rolls-Royce is a true household name in engineering. A Rolls-Royce is one of the most successful luxury cars that money can buy. And with over 130 dealerships spread over 40 countries, the brand is known all around the globe. Kind of funny considering that it all started out with a poor kid that had a passion for innovation. When farm boy Henry Royce first started out tinkering with engines, nobody could have guessed he would one day create some of the most expensive cars in the world! And when he finally met his daredevil companion, history was truly made! Don’t miss this story!

I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.

The first step to wealth creation, is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance - either on your own or with the help of a financial advisor. If you can get the facts about savings and investing with a well detailed plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your income.

You’re right! Working with a financial advisor will genuinely set you up for success in life. I’m delighted I was able to hire a financial advisor named John Desmond Heppolette, earlier this year. Because while others were grumbling about the downturn in the financial markets due to the state of the economy, I was busy learning from him and eventually made over seven figures in the first quarter of the year.

That's great, your financial advisor must be really good, I have seen testimonies of people using the help of financial advisors in making them more financially stable. I just discovered his exceptional resume when I made a google search of his names online. he appears knowledgeable and well accredited. I drop him a message and book a call session with him!

@FeedTheMachine - different times, different government rules, different taxation and so on. Also car manufacturer market wasn't that saturated as it is now. Plenty of options and movement there at that time. Comparing that to the current time, because they haven't made it in one year is just stupid. Even Bezos at the beginning had other backers, and money from his parents. So was Gates, with his first deal with IBM when he was starting (as his mother was a friend of John Opel - a CEO of IBM at that time). Musk? Hell, nothing like parent owning a Zambian emerald mine.... And so on. So yeah, people have every right to "cry" about it. This boy wouldn't have made it now without proper backers. Don't get me wrong, he was clever, had a vision - but curently that is rarely enough.

Alot respect to two men, they designed and built one of the best cars in the world, Rolls-Royce, the name speaks for itself, perfection in automotive engineering!
@mjm7071
@mjm7071 2 жыл бұрын
It's perfection depending on the consumer. I love my 7 series, but that car is a cruise car for the most part. When I had my 3 series, I preferred the performance engineering behind it. Those big boat cars are marketed to people who are looking for that specifically, not to the average consumer. To say that it's one of the best cars in the world, is far fetched, considering the vast majority of consumers aren't buying RR's. The "best" cars are typically cheaper vehicles, with alot of support, and reliability (usually japanese makes). Rolls Royce doesn't fall under that category. I'm actually wondering, since you like the RR's, what is the highest milage one you've seen? Tbh, im a car guy, but I've never really cared for the RR, even though my 7 series is based off of that car. It's so expensive for no reason..

@@mjm7071 its perfection because of the engineering and the skill required for the finished product there are not a lot of cars put together in the way Rolls-Royce do it especially the early car's, comparing them to other car's is pointless if you don't know the reasons why people buy Rolls-Royce, stick to your 7 series mate it's a great car but it ain't a Rolls-Royce

My favorite Royce saying shows why the cars are so durable: "Test it until it breaks and then improve what breaks." He had a "torture rack" that would suspend a chassis at the four axle points (where the wheels would normally mount) and then pulse each one on it's own random cam at varying speeds in order to excite every natural frequency in the assembly. He expected his cars to survive at least 18 to 20 hours of this punishment without damage whereas when he put a competitors' car on there it would generally start shedding parts within the first hour. That's one of the reasons the British Army had them build halftracks for desert use during WW I.
@John-oe5nb

Much has changed. In 2013 I bought a brand new Ford F150. Worst vehicle I have ever owned. Nothing but trouble and failures. I think their motto is "Test it until it breaks and that is the part you use on all vehicles after that." I would hate to put this truck on a torture rack. You would wind up with a pile of broken parts in minutes. I keep thinking that things will get better, but not so. Poorly designed and poorly built.

It’s amazing just how dumb some peoples thought processes can be, and what an incredibly banal and stupid comment to make. But don’t despair; looking at the 14 thumbs up your stupidity is not completely isolated. Without the coming together of the two “R”s and the subsequent car building business, it is almost a cast iron guarantee the opportunity to advance into other sectors would never have happened. So the counter argument to your rather ill conceived comment is the cars were the most important.

As a young teenager in the 60s I lived next to a launderette, the owner owned three Rolls-Royce cars and my brother used to earn a bit of pocket money by washing a polishing them once a week or so. The owner took a trip to the south of France but on the second day of his trip the engine developed a problem and stopped. He phoned a rolls-royce dealership who promptly sent out two mechanics who brought with them a new engine the owner stopped in a hotel overnight and the following day could continue his holiday. After coming back to England he waited for a few weeks thinking about the bill for the repair as he had no invoice from them. He phoned Rolls Royce and said how much do I owe you for the repair work on my car the reply he got was you must be mistaken sir our cars don't break down and he never got a repair bill.

I been a fan of RR a long time. I'd say around 1995. Tela was the first black guy i seen drive a Rolls early on before they became a rap staple. Also Puffy drove a Cornish in his 1996 video "cant nobody hold me down". It looked luxurious. Well built and shaped. RR is in a class all by them self. I love 1980s Cornish and Silver Saraph.

All the early 747 engines had major reliability issues. All of them - P&W, GE and Royce's all took over a decade to reach the super reliable levels of today. The RB211-22 was a shocker in the beginning. The -524 was a major improvement. The Rolls Royce Heritage Trust has multiple superb volumes on all their history including a large and very, very detailed thing on the RB211-22C. A fascinating read.
