Hi. The lamb needs 2-3 minutes on each side over the hot coals, or on a high heat. You then need to either turn down the heat or move the coals to the side and allow the lamb to cook on a more gentle heat for a further 7-8 minutes on each side. Then you should have perfectly cooked lamb! Let us know how you get on -it's such a great recipe!

Yes you can use it on chicken although mint and lamb are more of a traditional flavour pairing. Let us know how you get on!

Hi. Yes you can ask for your butcher to butterfly the leg of lamb, or have a look in your butcher's section at your nearest large supermarket. Let us know how you get on! It was delicious.

id say at 175 f, cook it until a internal temp reading is around 135 to 140-45 f, go off of internal temp not time

What is the internal temp of the lamb when done?

Hurrah,at last,someone who mentions the membrane in the chilli. And this looks absolutely DE-LIC-IOUS.Sadly I'm not allowed a BBQ on my balcony,(can't think why),so I'd have to cook this the conventional way in the oven,damnit.Still,it's worth having a crack at it.

I live on the 2nd floor of a 14 storey tower block.It would breach the terms of my tenancy agreement if I decided to fire up a BBQ on my balcony.It's a £500 call out fee if the fire brigade turn up.You gonna pay that for me? As to your question about butterfly lamb,it's just a case of removing the bone to flatten the meat out.Your butcher should do it for you if you ask.
