Buu can use parts of his body to engulf people and then combine with them. Essentially, its absorption, the same thing Cell could do, except its more OP here since he literally gets their abilities, power, and knowledge on top of his. Also, yeah you did see earrings in Super. Kefla was fused the same way.

Yeah, he's a lot like Cell in that the more he absorbs the more "human" he becomes. He gets more eloquent, his voice loses the rasp, and of course there's his appearance, he now has a nose. With that comes more intellect, even experience, to complement the sheer raw power he gains.

Buu is similar but also different from Cell. With Cell, we knew that he was made up of cells from Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta & the other Z fighters & wanted to absorb Androids 17 & 18 to reach his Perfect form. With Buu however, we had NO IDEA what he was capable of or what his plans were

Man that Ultimate Gohan Theme never gets old . That shit go so hard it's 🔥 and the Old Kai is dead like he cant go 5o 5he world of the living while he's dead with the Halo on . He was only still there because he's a kai and because the world of the Kais is basically above other world . Also the fusion the Old Kai was going to have them use is the Potara fusion . It's supposedly the perfect fusion making them wayyy better than the original fusion dance . Potara is supposed to be the strongest fusion but they retconned it in DB Super and made it equal in strength to the original fusion dance depending on who the fusion is .

The difference between cell and Majin BUU is simple. When cell regenerates, he does it slowly. When Majin BUU regenerates, he does it very quick and fast. But another difference, is that when cell regenerates, he has to struggle in order to fight again. When BUU regenerates, he does not have to struggle because he can do it very quick.

The difference is that Buu is ok in any form, he's very comfortable being just some kind of jelly and he doesn't have a core like Cell, no weak point. Also, he doesn't lose a significant amount of energy when regenerating, it's a normal thing for him, like walking. While Cell struggles and loses a significant amount of energy for a single regeneration. It's like comparing a cat and a tiger. The only thing that could maybe make Cell reach the base Buu's level of strength, would be that Cell can count on his saiyan cells to make him stronger each time he struggles, and to make training very effective. So maybe after some very long and crazy training for dozen of years.

@Aimin when buu absorbs people he not only gains that person's power and abilities he also gains their knowledge. Which is why he chose to absorb piccolo too. Gotenks at super saiyan 3 was basically on the same level as super buu so absorbing gotenks literally doubled buu's power and then to top it off adding piccolo's powers, techniques, and knowledge on top of that makes him even more dangerous than if he just took gotenks. Now super buu's power is equal if not greater than Gohan.

Their pretty much equal, it’s the mind games that tips things in Buu’s favor. If Gohan’s head isn’t in the game then he can’t win and Piccolo knows that, meaning Buu does as well.

A lot of people never acknowledge that when buu absorbs gotenks, his antenna thingy grows in size similar to the super saiyan 3 hair. I think it's really neat because it shows the super saiyan 3 multiplier is still in effect, so it's not just a buutenks, it's an ssj3 buutenks

@@kellentaylor7315 that's the thing, people act as if when buu absorbs newer people the effects of the others go away but they don't. Buu retained the ssj3 multiplier even after absorbing gohan just like he retained piccolo as buutenks

When Buutenk hit the time limit for the fusion, he reverted into Piccolo's outfit because the fusion ended and obviously the ssj3 too (that form was never meant to be infinite): Piccolo ended up being the strongest absorbed fighter between him, Trunks and Goten, that's why Buu had his clothes, and he still had the antenna. That's all, Goku even mentioned how his energy dropped, Gotenk was gone. Considering those events, it's obvious the antenna has nothing to do with the ssj3 hair (even if at first buutenks logically had the power of ssj3 gotenks, otherwise he wouldn't have outclassed gohan so completely). Two possibilities: - The antenna is meant to reflect Piccolo's intelligence, after all he could only have complex conversations in the three forms in which he had Piccolo, and he mentioned absorbing Piccolo for that very reason. - It has no particular signifiance and Toriyama just thought the design looked good.
