in December, we had a 2015 BMW X5 that was involved in a accident when a guy hit my mom on the 5 freeway. It was marked as salvage and we needed a new car. My mom didn’t have the best credit due to buying a home. Her credit was about 655. She got approved for a 0% loan with ford motor company on a 72 month long term. Get a guy to go with you at the very last day of the year. We walked out because we wanted a lower payment! But a hour later they called with a amazing deal! anything is possible

Saimahs, where are your earlier videos ? because I've watched all your videos from the start and it seems like you've been making videos for years with how well you explain things and that you have so many cars now. The video I'm looking for is an example of one of your Corvettes what your numbers look like... car payments and expenses vs. income. Bad months and good months.

New cars are great, but they depreciate quickly. A new car might get you a good APR right off the bat, but a gently used vehicle will hold its value better. Plus, you can (and should) refinance after a few years.

Hey Saimah! It’s Sam again! Just as you advised, I have been doing a lot of homework on Turo. Actually the past three months I have been doing it with my cheap little 06 corolla and researching how it works. I am nervous but excited to say I am going to buy a brand New 2018 Hyundai Elantra. They have $3,500 off MSRP + $1000 (Uber affiliate) deals + $400 college grad deals! So it’s cheaper then the 2017 models! That’s a grand total of $4,900 off MSRP! I’m going to go right after Christmas! I have already got in contact with a dealer and my father might co-sign for me (cause I have a small credit history) cause I am young! If you have anymore tips on how to get your car ready so you can have it in the chamber and ready to go seconds after buying please let me know! I am going to college and I think this is a awesome investment!!

Question, how would one buy or finance a car with no money down, with the intent of putting the car on turo for starting a business, if one doesn't have already a full time job showing a steady monthly income? I'm wondering, when you bought your first car and was just starting off with turo, did you have a job already where you were able to show a steady income in order to get the first car?

Hi, great Turo video series! Intelligent lady! Do you have any issues getting car loans for a 10th or more car? Most car dealers I've talked to said it's extremely difficult for 1 person to get more than 2 car loans, even with high credit scores. Do you tell them the cars are for rental/ business use and show them Turo? Are your cars all personal car loans or business loans? And besides your credit score, is the loan based on your Turo income? I appreciate your insights and helpful information about Turo.

I think this video is teaching people bad habits. It's really dangerous to take out huge loans at high interest (anything above 5% is too high and you should not be buying a car.) It's especially dangerous to do it for something like turo. What happens if the company goes under? Youre now stuck with a bunch of cars you can't afford and youre left with bankruptcy.

Saimahs Experience I know how credit works, I used to sell cars at key's Mercedes. No way out of a high payment on a lease with 650score. Perfect credit with long history won't help. Because the good credit and low score means the person has a high income to debt ratio. So bigger down or higher score is inevitable and 72month financing don't make sense to me. After couple of years of use the car is not worth much much less because it was load out to people and it was use. So to me it seems like I'll be pay 72 months for something that has no value after 36 month if that. Just my opinion ✌️

Actually, there is no advantage for dealers if they get paid in cash, down payment /loan, or 100% financing. They will get the full negotiated sales price from the buyer and/or the finance company within a few days. Because of this, always negotiate the out the door sales price (car+tax+title+license) first before talking about payment options.
@customername181
@customername181 6 жыл бұрын
This information is not entirely accurate but I'm sure it was offered with only good intent to help inform people that there are options available even when they might not think there is. The down payment that a dealership asks for may or may not be a requirement from the bank that the dealership plans to use. If the bank gives the dealership an "approval" or "counter offer" that is requesting 10% - 20% down payment based off your personal credit and the vehicle that you are purchasing then that's the amount that bank will need to receive to fund the deal. If you want to get yourself a vehicle loan with "No Money Down" you'll need to either have good credit, a trade with positive equity, or down payment assistance from the manufacture or dealership. You'll find it's often best to buy New if you are new to credit or have had some credit issues in the past because often times the factory financing incentive will allow for little to no money down even if you have sub-par credit worthiness.

Why would you buy a car on credit? I just dont get it why americans are so much into buying stuff on credit. Get a 500$ shitbox, save the money and buy your dream car cash. Whats so difficult about this idea? US Americans have a very good income on averege, why would they need credit to buy a car? Cars are like 50% the price of the same cars in Europe and US people ear about the same.

@BoredAtWork2000
@BoredAtWork2000 6 жыл бұрын
Lukas Meyer you still don’t understand. If you can only afford a $500 car, you won’t be able to rent it on Turo. So you take a loan from the bank at 5% (or whatever) to buy the car as a business investment. You then rent the car through TURO and make $750 a month. Just making up numbers. Meanwhile your loan payment is $400 a month. Would you rather take a loan to make $350 a month? Or just sit there with your $500 car and make zero. In this case it’s a business investment. Then if you do that long enough you could pay cash for the next car. Or buy 5 instead of 1.

Lukas Meyer the cash on cash return is good. Most large companies in the world have debt. That’s how they grow. I’m really not sure if you are severely risk adverse, still not getting it, or just don’t understand business. I’m not trying to be rude. Taking a risk is normal in the business world regardless of what country you are from.

I've been in real estate (I know finances) all my life.... Buying a car with ZERO down is the dumbest advice I've heard in my life. Literally, you are setting people up for failure. The first person to lose their shirt is gonna be you. You are buying expensive new cars with ZERO down. All it will take is a dip in the economy or Turo loses its business/market. There is a recession coming(Early 2019 to late 2020), real estate prices are on a stagnant to a downward trend, and Europe is already in financial crisis. Be careful madam or this hobby of yours is gonna make you lose everything. I doubt you are figuring in the cost to maintain and run these vehicles properly. A 60K car has to be rented for $200-$400 a day to break even in the long term.

you are full of bullshit.. New car financing is cheap... 0%-2.9%... alot less than you can make on your money elsewhere.. why would you use your cash on hand when you can borrow theirs so cheap... the rule is put your cash where it makes you the most... and in the dealers pocket isn't it.. not when they are selling money so cheap... now, on sub prime loans.. 18%.. you will have to put money down just to get the loan equitable for the lender to take the risk.. and the dealer to clear their fees they "can't" disclose... oh.. and the profit. but she's talking about good credit new car loans.. you should always take the cheap money.. and invest your cash where it makes most..
