Easily the safest route for finding a used Tesla. They inspect each car and offer extended warranties. There are many other options though, sometimes resulting in better finds than what Tesla has on their site. I've scored some excellent listings in the past!

@@BrandonDriver Can't wait! I heard a little bit of everything. Some charge to 70-80% as a regular routine and full on busy days days. Others charge 80-90 percent regularly. Since super chargers are made by Tesla it seems strange to say super charging is bad for your battery. Elon tweeted it was okay to charge up to 90% on a battery each night. So many ideas out there. Just found this video. Great info and delivery. I am looking at a one owner 2014 Model S 85, less than 41,000. California car now in MI. I think the dealer bought it at auction. Car Fax looks good. Asking $34,455. What should I look for?, anything more specific? Thanks.

Ask to see how many miles it gets on a full charge! No battery pack is handled the same by the previous owner. That car could get 250mi on a full charge or it could get 200mi if the battery was abused.

as long as I buy a recent model through a third party dealer the 4/50k warranty is still included correct? I noticed the listings on tesla’s site are roughly 10k more than any dealer. What are failures to be worried about on a used model 3? Thank you in advance. This is my first video I found of you!

I would double check with a Tesla rep, but as long as there isn't any warranty-voiding issues, it should still be included. Stuff to look out for especially would be modifications or damage. Welcome to the channel! And feel free to shoot me a message if you're interested in help looking for one.

Thoughts on buying used through Tesla’s own website? All used model 3s I’ve looked at say full self driving capable, are they doing that to incentivize used sales? I’m thinking of getting a used long range AWD 2018 but it does say FSD for that year too.
@BrandonDriver4 жыл бұрын
Do it! If you look at the order process on the site for a new car, you’ll see the same terminology for “Full Self-Driving Capability,” it’s just the name of the software package. New subscriber here. I am looking to purchase an early Model S. I am looking for a Model S P85 with sunroof. I am not looking for the best deal, I am looking for the best car. I live in San Diego and so will only accept a CA or AZ car (with Carfax check). I know many of the early S cars had screen issues that were upgraded and even motors in some cases. Will Tesla evaluate a car for me if I have checked it out but want them to "officially" check it out (for a fee of course)? Other than this exact model, the number one important thing for me is the lifetime free self charging ( I know, only to 90% to preserve battery). How do I 100% ensure that on transfer I get the lifetime free charging? Thank you. I know you don't have a big Boomer viewership, but I asked anyway.

@@Rick9482 I highly recommend going through Facebook to look for a good deal. I explain it in detail in the 3rd point of this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYiYY6qIia2pbNk It would seem that most Tesla owners just join their city's Tesla Owners Groups when they get the car, and that's often the first place they post when they're looking to sell.
