My overall fitness is good, I don’t smoke or do drugs, hardly drink, eat healthy and have always been active so I was in relatively good shape when I started. I’m definitely tired and sweaty after training but I focus on my technique and use leverage in jiu jitsu, it doesn’t require the explosive energy and strength like Muay Thai does. Plus, I take measures to use preventative care, check in with doctors when I get injured, train around injuries and listen to my coaches. I usually do 2-3 classes a day, 6 days a week

How about trying to train as Cross Country runners for a month ?? It'll be nice for them to see what us as cross country runners do ,and even runners in general. :)
@lilshroom81147 жыл бұрын
brendamaltez 21 Easy way easier than boxing. I had to run 5 miles everyday for cross country and 10 miles on Friday's which was hell but boxing was way worse considering we had to do push-ups 20 minutes straight and 4 miles everyday and way much more

Loved how this one had way more content with the actual process than a lot of the other "Multiplayer" videos. They spent more time showing the workouts & training process, as well as the actual meals they were eating, and all of that was gold. More would be even better.

Sara Kenth A low carb is shown to be more beneficial in basically every way when attempting to lose weight, especially when you aren't tracking macros particularly accurately. I can link you to a meta-analysis if you're interested

Sara Kenth I lost 175 lbs cutting out carbs in 9 months. Boom.
@Kaybye5557 жыл бұрын
Sara Kenth They are totally not bad for you but a lot of people prefer to cut those down because of the calories that usually accompany carbs, easier to eat less carbs and lose weight.of course, this is for just plain weightloss, not eating healthy and what not. Also, they usually cut down on carbs like bread, pasta, potatoes, etc. Rather than vegetables. I think there a misusage of the terms carbs and flour/starch products. Just my opinion.
@jasonsimpson13977 жыл бұрын
Anecdotal evidence does not equal scientific facts. double boom! Actually, when you cut out a macro, you tend to automatically eat lower calories. ALL diets will get you to lose weight. The hard part is sticking to them.

Emma 420 im wanting to start boxing any tips ??
@frosttoce6054 жыл бұрын
@@megan.palmaa9119 Cause you're just starting, number 1, LISTEN to everything your coaches tell you regarding technique. Number 2, don't be afraid to ask for help or pointers regarding technique, skill etc because if you're at a good gym everyone should be willing to help. Number 3, don't be afraid to get hit cause all that's gonna do is limit your abilities

Rob Smith thank you so much !!

Yourfriendlyneighborhoodgnome 4. If someone hits you hard when you spar with someone, tell them. 5. Also when sparring focus on technique not how hard you can punch. 6. You are sparring with someone, not sparring against or fighting against. 7. You need to focus on your defense and footwork, offense comes with time. Ask your partners to go offensive on you so they can work on their offense whilst you can work on your defense.
