I had deep dish once and it wasn’t very good in my opinion, and I almost choked on the cheese because it was too thick. But I’m not so sure, probably it wasn’t good because that specific deep dish pizza was from Michigan city. I never tried the pizza from Chicago, so it probably is good, but it probably wasn’t the deep dish pizza in general that I don’t like, but the restaurant’s quality that I don’t like.

I can't recall the name of the OG restaurant but it's located in Georgia. It's a loooong story but Scott DeSano bought the rights from the owner and started the pizza chain, DeSano Pizza Bakery.
