For your supernatural series you need to check out the Ottawa jail hostel. It's the most haunted hostel in the world since it was previously a jail where many prisoners and politicians were hung. You stay the night in prison cells and you can stay on every floor but one, since that floor is too active. There are full body apparitions, poltergeist and people are known to get nosebleeds in the courtyard. The ghost of Darcy McGees assassin is the most spotted. Really cool place, you should really look into it!!!!

I actually looked up Skidmore and watched some videos of people who drove through it. It's creepy af, the population dropped to around 250. I don't know why they didn't include some of the other horrific events that happened there in the episode, maybe not enough time. A couple of years ago a boy went missing, apparently everyone as well knows what happened to him but nobody opens their mouth. In 2004, a jealous woman killed her 9 month pregnant friend, cut her belly open and stole the baby and butchered her afterwards. Gladly this one was brought to justice. I think the killer is on death row right now and luckily the baby survived. I would never set foot into this town.

I think this story could be made into a really great film. Something on the lines of Hell Or High Water in its stylistic approach. With that raw rural look, and having the protagonist (Ken Rex) be a sort of anti-hero in the beginning, winning over the audience and then slowly but surely worsening his crime spree to a point where the audience has flipped and then have his killing dramatised leaving the audience with the same ethical dilemma that this Buzzfeed Unsolved episode has left us with.
