One of my coworkers got a phone call from her son’s nursery and had to rush away from work. We were all concerned that he was ill or there had been an accident. Toddlers are interesting creatures lol. One of my horror stories from working at a daycare, I had to keep a dozen 2 year-olds away from poop smeared on the wall and floor left from another toddler who had a blowout... The other toddlers kept running towards it yelling, “Poop!! Poop!!” Like it was candy they all wanted. 🤦🏻♀️I’m glad I didn’t have to clean the poop or change the messy poop covered 2 year-old so I won’t complain too much 😂

One of my toddlers was crying so I let her sit on my lap, and all of a sudden she stopped and got this strange look and her face. Next thing I knew she was projectile vomiting all over me . I was sitting crossed legged,so it was all over the front of my body and the back of my legs! I didn't want to upset her even more , so I was just calmly saying ",help, help, help" until the teacher on the other side of the room heard me and helped get her off me. I had to drive home and take a shower because I was just completely covered. The best part about it was the toddler was still being breast fed, so I was not only covered in vomit but also covered in her mother's breast milk. 🤢🤢🤢 Her parents gave me chocolate and a card saying sorry.😅

Now I don’t know these kids by name that well and I have some very unique names in my classroom so I’m thinking a child named la cocina pooped somewhere. So I’m asking where is the poop and he kept saying la cocina. So finally I said show me where. The child proceeds to run over to the kitchen grab the poop and show me. That is the day I learned la cocina means kitchen in Spanish and I also learned you can never disinfect a classroom enough

Parents: “My child would never do something like that. They’re only 5 and still learning, so they should be forgiven for anything! Been through pretty much all of these and more! Infant teacher here. It’s a bad day when you get puked down your shirt, major blowout on your lap and teething babies all in the same day. We’ve had that kind of vomiting scene before and it’s not fun. You go home with snot, smelling like spit up or poop, and care doesn’t end after work because I have a toddler myself. Daycare/preschool teachers need better pay for this type of job. It takes certain people to have the patience to raise these children to have the basic building blocks of success. The day I ask you for a regular kitchen size trash bag you know it’s going down. I was lucky my boss walked in and I told her “(insert boss name) hurry I need a trash bag! It has happened!” She knew immediately and got me a trash bag and bleach cleaner and towels. If you want to know this is to bag the lower part of the child up as we transport them form where ever they are to the bathroom so as to not drip and track the poop/ biohazards through out the school. (Welcome! This will be a useful tip for anyone with kids)

I’m a toddler educator. I remember the time when we had circle time and a child sat on my lap. 10 minutes in I started to smell poop somewhere. We checked the kids diapers and couldn’t find it so we just assumed it was fart. Another 10min later, the child on my lap stood up and in the corner of my eye I saw something falling out of her shirt. I looked down and it was a big chunk of mushy poop that was pushed up from her diaper into her shirt. The poop was all over the carpet and my clothes 🙂 it was a Monday morning. Had to treat myself to a good dinner after cause it’s just no way to start the week.

lol, when I was a toddler, my mom said to clean my room or she’d sell everything on the floor, so then I just started taking stuff out of my room that I didn’t want and putting it on the floor right in front of her and telling her to sell it. BONUS STORY My mom said to give her the things I didn’t want anymore, and I gave her a air freshener that was plugged into my wall. She said it wouldn’t sell but I told her to just try it. *A one dollar air freshener my mom bought for me sold for ten dollars on ebay.*

"Its all a cycle" is actually an excellent way to explain death to a toddler.

They’ve stole creator’s ideas. Some workers have made ridiculous videos like about “manspreading”

Yep, you pretty quickly learn to recognise the postures and expressions that precede projectile vomiting. But honestly that’s fine. The poonami, the snot on your shoulders, the attack cuddles that knock you over... it’s all worth the privilege of being a preschool teacher. I wouldn’t trade my days with those hilarious, cuddly little weirdos for anything.

You think those stories are bad, I’ll tell you some real horror stories. The worst part of being a preschool teacher isn’t blood, vomit, and poop. Nope. The emotional upheaval for children of divorce, deaths in the family, and all kinds of abuse. I ended many of my days crying on the floor of the shower when I was a preschool teacher.

Wait... you're telling me... these parents expected a toddler to be self sufficient in potty training with a onesie on?... WHAT ALTERNATE DIMENSION ARE THEY FROM?

One time during my first trimester of this pregnancy, I was with a mix of toddlers and preschoolers alone in the classroom before school started. I had bad nausea at the time but I was able to keep it down whenever I was at work. Me and a two-year-old had just eaten the same breakfast. A sausage and cheddar breakfast sandwich from Starbucks. He ate those every morning and I had decided to treat myself with one that morning. Everything was going fine when he started puking. I’m talking projectile vomiting a few feet, at least six or seven times. After the first puke I lifted him up and carried him over to a sink and held him over the sink while he puked. As soon as he was done, I started projectile vomiting. Several parents walked in to drop off their children during this ordeal and just turned around and left with their children.

I had a girl scream cry for 8 of my 9 hour shift at a preschool. For five days. No potty breaks for 6 hours and no support from admin

For real!! Working at a daycare, so many of my coworkers are single moms and they gotta work overtime everyday just to pay bills. It’s not fair, because we’re teaching the future generation!

One time in kindergarten I puked because I ate my cookie before my carrots. (It was actually because I had a lot of sugar before that because I snuck into the candy drawer at home but my teachers told me it was because I had sugar before eating the healthy food so I wouldn't do it again)

@2:11 that’s exactly what you hear when you’re in that specific situation. Me: “Oh it’s okay now, it’s over.” Narrator: “It was not over.” *mwa ha ha* Edit: @3:47 yep

For this video, at least none of these stories ended with a student exposing themselves or naked.
