I work at Subway currently so I'm going to give my two cents about this: 1. Who hasn't messed up an order and served it anyway. I'd do that all the time as a new employee. As long as my shift leader didn't see me I was fine with it. Even now, if I'm tired, i will not remake a sandwich. 2. I say "Hello. Be with you in a moment." I don't think "Welcome to Subway" is needed. The customer knows where they are coming. 3. I did, I just never vocalized it. But some customers could probably see or feel my frustration with their order (especially if they change it like fifty times). 4. Again, unless you were there less than a month, you are going to be yelled at by customers. I literally had one customer call the store just to yell at me for ruining her dinner even though I offered to fix it. She didn't want her money back or anything, she just wanted me to know that I was the cause of her apparently horrible dinner (I didn't put bacon on a bacon egg and cheese sandwich) I was tired and had been busy and wasn't thinking. I apologized and offered to fix it but she didn't want any of it. 5. This one I've never done. The label says expired, it's expired. I don't care what it looks like. I had one customer call the store talking about symptoms she was experiencing from a salad she got and it seemed like food poisoning. She didn't even call the right store, but after that, I knew never to keep expired produce on the line when I was working by myself. 6. Never. I would be fired, immediately. 7. I one time took sandwiches home because the person didn't show up to pick up their order, and I have taken sandwiches I made wrong and just taken off the veggies I don't want and then I eat it. Free food when you don't get anything but a very small cup of whatever drink you want (as much as you want, but still) is very nice. 8. Never. Again, I would get fired. One time, I forgot to charge for an extra, texted my manager, and she told me not to worry about it that one time, but she told me how to ring it up if I forgot again. That's the only time. 9. If stabbing your hand with the cutting knife to open the bread doesn't count as an injury, I dont know what does. I cut my hand on the tomato slicer, the onion/cucumber/green pepper slicer, and I've stabbed my hand too many times to count. A legitimate injury, I almost had a big gash in my back from picking something up off the floor near the sink. I got up fast and banged my back directly into the edge of the sink (it looks like a upside u on the outside edge). 10. Never.

He told me what kind of sub he wanted and I asked him what kind of bread he wanted. Right away without any hesitation he said “mayo” and I kinda just stared at him ‘cause I was tired too. He realised what he said and was like “wait, what was the question?” And I asked him again and he was like “what are the options?” And I pointed to the bread chart right in front of his face😂
