I think a woman should wear her hair exactly how she wants to. I do not feel oppressed by my long hair. Growing up, my mom would chop all of my hair off when all I wanted to do was grow it long, and she hated long hair. I feel free having wild, long hair and I felt oppressed having a short haircut that didn't fit who I was.

From 2019 - Cutting your isn't a big deal unless you feel your hair is a part of your identity. It's hair. It grows back. My has has down past my ass and in a crew cut. Other people had an issue with me cutting my hair, but I never did. The one question I hated was - Did you ask your husband/boyfriend first? No. It isn't his hair, it's mine and I shall with it as I choose. :-)

A couple years ago, in my 60s, I shaved my head (with dog clippers). Everyone hated it but I loved it. I kept it buzzed for about a year and loved how cooling it was in the summer, how fast I could shower and I just felt FREE. Also I was mourning the coming death of my terminally I'll daughter so it was very cathartic. I do not and never did regret it. Interesting side note... my hair had been like a blondish gray but after I buzzed my head it grew back in a beautiful snow white. I loved the new white color. This comments is years after your experience. I trust it was helpful to you as well. You look great with it short.

I did it this year. Didn't shave tho. But my hair was lots longer then mine, and I did it by myself, cause I think is such a personal thing. I made kinda spell. Not a spell cause I was not into witchery and stuff like I'm getting in now, but was already a spell, an enchanting thing, without even knowing it. And I think that's the real magic 😉 So I turn some lanterns on in the garden, made some cool pics, and then went in the bathroom with candles, music, and scissors, and........... ZAC! ✂ Was such and adrenalinic moment for me! Wow! I suggest everyone not to go to the hairdresser, but do it my your own. Make a back braid and cut it like I did. By yourself. No one around. Has a completely different atmosphere. So intense... you go to the hairdresser after 😉💇🏻

i have only ever seen you with short hair im a new viewer so when i watched this video, i cried because your hair was so beautiful. You still look great but i wish you kept it.
