The old one was called “promise” it was from silent hill 2, but I started getting copyright claimed for it so I’ve started using something else.

Hey there, I really love your channel and so I'd like to point something out - I think your rating is a little abstract, i.e. it maybe is confusing to people who discover your channel. You're talking about the atmosphere and rate it "one Harry Mason". Is this bad? Is it good? It SEEMS to be very bad (like "1/5 stars"). And the icon on the top right corner is REALLY small, maybe you could give your scale an overhaul or at least explain how it works at the start of each video? I think it would help your channel grow ... ❤

Over the course of 5-6 years I’ve very rarely had to explain the system, either it gets a point or it doesn’t for each of the 5 categories. The scale thing is a definite problem, I used to have it much larger and people complained it was too big. The switch to 4K seems to have made it even smaller. But I think I can solve all the problems in one swoop…

Didn’t mean to put you off commenting, it’s been a fine art balancing all the different criticisms people give, I want to make things better but often one person suggests something that goes against what someone else suggested. I’m thinking if I make them slightly bigger and have a “out of 5” at the top then it’ll allow people to know what the best score is, without having to dedicate a part of every video to explaining it. I don’t want to leave people behind, but I’m so used to the system now that I don’t think about it.

Platinumed it and loved every second. I think this is right in line with the REmake from early Gamecube.

I feel the same way about the original game but I do still enjoy playing it, it’s not disappointing to me, even though it doesn’t scare me or stress me out. And this is the same thing nearly.

I never finished the original. As you said, it did get a bit tedious after a while and personally I wasn't a big fan of the story. Especially not after the military ships arrives and everybody proves completely incompetent. Typical story problem when any kind of hero gets involved. Doom 3 and Quake 4 have similar problems.

The remake is somewhat more competent in the story/writing, it's like a very fun sci Fi horror movie. It won't make you change your mind about the general plot but it's overall a pretty fun romp, maybe a bit too long tbh, but still more than solid.
