Did you try holding the buttons (which close the doors) down for a while? Maybe then they function as Memory button?

The memory system switch is located on the trim of driver door, having a total of 2 memory positions if you look in the manual.

You are correct, it does say that in the manual. You can clearly see all the buttons in my video: A boot release button located in the door bin. Then a cluster of buttons together that control 1)Mirrors 2)Central Locking 3)Windows and 4)two pictures of people that control the child safety locks for the rear doors. I can’t find any others. The Memory System has an * which indicates it does not apply to all models, but as I have the top model, you would think the Performance model would have it.

@@deserialized You read the manual correctly, I just can’t find the buttons and there are no pictures in the manual. The only buttons on the seats are for seat and lumber adjustment

@@EcoHouseThailand It looks like the people entrusted with writing the manual (in Enlish) have made the mistake with the 2 child lock buttons!!!!! Only explanation I can come up with. I have seen in other videos that a shortcut can be put in the shortcut dropdown menu ( or I could possibly be imagining this)

Does the seat automatically move back when you exit/enter the car and forward into position when you are ready to drive? Could you also make a video of the NFC card being used to enter and start the car?

Does the child lock button , locks the rear door, so it cannot be opened from the side, but can open from the outside? I have a 2 year old that likes to open the door while I am driving...

According to the spec. sheet for Thailand only the AWD Performance has the Electronic child lock on the drivers door. The buttons turn red when pressed and the rear doors cannot be opened from the inside. I seem to remember seeing the manual lever type child locks that you have open the doors to access on the other models.

@@EcoHouseThailand Thx I just checked my brochure. In Australia only the performance get it as well. I am getting the Premium :( Guess I have to do it manually. It will be interesting to see if those two buttons becomes for the seat memory :/

In my current car (Peugeot RCZ) the seat position are memorized in the key. So when I open the car with my key, the seat automatically goes to my memory position, the same occurs with my wife’s key. Maybe BYD system have the same feature

Nothing about that in the manual. We have 2 keys and neither has any effect on the seats

Does the home screen have any customised shortcuts you can set to get to this setting for the driver seat memory settings? Will perhaps save a few clicks.

That was my thought also, but no; Seat Position is not one of the allowed Shortcuts :(

Does the memory position are linked to the key used? Maybe if you use a key and your wife another, did you try this?

Normally there are 2 keys in the car as my wife has her key in case she wants to come back to the car first and it makes no difference.

Will it be possible to retro-fit roof racks to the Seal in a similar way to how a Model 3 can have them attached?

I don’t see a channel for them to slot into and you ruin the 0.219Cd

What about the real drive distance? On paper 520km.. how many in real situation? And let's say on highway?

I’ve had the car for only a few days so far and for a lot of that time I have been sitting inside with the aircon on making KZbin videos. I have a plan to take a longer trip in a couple of weeks, then I’ll do a range test.
