Scrap Wood and Metal Work - DIY Goblet Stand

Hello my dear friends. I am happy to present my new work to you.
I love to evaluate scrap wood. In this work, I combined scrap wood with brass and copper and made a stand for my antique crystal goblets.
Copper and brass were very combined for a period and this appeals to me very much. That's why I made such a choice.
While preserving the old look in some parts of the wood, I gave a silky touch to some parts. I gave a touch to the brass and copper sections accordingly, I did not want them very bright and smooth.
I decided on the shape of the wooden part exactly during work, I followed the flow as usual. I had prepared a special oil some time ago and I used this oil for the wood. I am very pleased with the color and effect.

Great video and very nice display for the goblets. Have you ever considered doing a restoration video on your hand crank buffer wheel that is mounted to your bench (which you used to polish the pins in this video)? Might make for a fun project. Love the videos!

Right-handed, but planing from the left-hander's standing position. Was this for the camera angle? Are you a boat-builder? Copper rivets and roves are pretty much only used by wooden boatbuilders these days.
