Bypass Clutch & Kick Stand Safety - KLR650 How to

Here is a Kawasaki KLR650 mod to bypass the clutch and kickstand safety switches. When I was out riding off road during a camping trip, my bike kept stalling or I’d crash and I kept having to start it again by shifting into neutral before it would try and turn over. Either the Clutch or the Kick Stand safety switch was going out and the bike wouldn’t start without shifting into neutral. This mod gives me a switch on the dash to bypass the factory safety switches. Now I can easily flip it when I’m off road and bypass the safety switches.
Today we’re in the garage with the KLR650. We go through the Kawasaki wiring diagrams to come up with a plan to bypass the clutch and safety switches and then try it out. You get to see me cut the wiring harness and survive to tell the tale. TY for watching please subscribe!

Cool video I literally just unplugged the cable and sort it and it works all the time. I just don’t have the option to don’t make it work but still don’t see the point on switching it off. Cheers

Very cool modification, you don't need it till you need it; and then you really need it. Switch was a cool touch instead of just a bypass
