I got a two pack of those grips brother. I put one on my byrna sd, & the other one I put on my wife's byrna sd. We both love them. They work really well.

Experts including Massad Ayoub do NOT recommend gun mounted lights. The light gives the bad guy a nice bright TARGET. BTW, I like the idea of an adaptor e.g. Boost that allows the use of 12 Gram CO2 cartridges, BUT the prices for the adapters are ridiculous $50-98 depending on the vendor and that little spacer to take up the extra space if you use an 8 Gram cartridge instead of the 12 gram cartridge is, as I recall, $16. Good golly Molly you could make one to fit in your garage in a few minutes. I am going to wait a few months and competition will surely drive down prices.

Negative, I don’t open-carry because people tend to get the wrong idea, since the Byrna launcher appears like a real firearm. It’s best concealed carry, nobody needs to know!

i have two of these. i think they look the best out, but they're also the weakest. and lets be honest. at 11-12 joules max, the byrna is not stopping a man who wants to do you harm. will probably stop an enraged woman or a large dog, but 11-12 joules is not stopping what you need it to stop. i love how the byrna sd looks, but thats about it.

It's designed for use with OC/CS pepper / tear gas projectiles, I don't think how many joules is the point of its stopping power here

@@PhiZeroth agreed joules dont matter when using oc/pepper. unfortunately that stuff isnt allowed in CA so i can only worry about the ability to actually put someone down when it comes to "home defense".
