Really love the C8 but I am waiting for the next version...Z06/Zora...I currently own a C7 Z06 with Chevy Performance CAI so about 670ish BHP and I formerly owned a 997 TT with approx. 750+ BHP so I am not stepping down to 495 HP. But I really do like the C8 style.

Yeah I agree, I guess it's personal taste but I think this rear spoiler is much better than the standard one. The price of this car is amazing but the best part will be the on going maintenance costs won't be a rip off like Ferrari, Lamborghini etc.

$60k Corvette C8 is a supercar. A C8 at $60k is relatively cheap enough that I'm keeping my C7 manual transmission for 3 pedal engagement fun when I get a C8. Unlike other cars that I've owned in that I normally tradein to lower the cost of the new car. Wow, the interior seat colors, dash colors, door colors, drive mode switch colors, seat belt colors. World's 1st car with a GPS lift.

Imo chevy is in a good position to be the "performance arm of General motors .why stop at the corvette? Imagine a new version of a GTO or Firebird or a high performance rear drive four door car to compete with the charger i even thought of a name call it GMP general motors performance. @@cindysue5474 the reason behind this comment is that Corvette has had over heating problems in the past in the C7 ZO6 and it's a lot harder to keep an engine cool when it's in the rear.

As if they would repeat a bad error of the c7 zo6! And any car sitting for a long time in huge heat will shut off! Relax the car will be fine heat wise! And the lt2 is basically still the small block chevy just with some tweeks so the engine will be bullet proof! Its just suspension and gearbox thats all new that might have hiccups but both those are easily accessed! Its the zo6 and zr1 models that will be new turbocharged engine and electric motors that the zr1 might have were issues could arise! But this base stinger will be solid if you ask me!!

It's accessorized, not customized. You didn't notice the rear spoiler, the stripes, the wheels, the black mirrors? Just wanted to show some of the other "factory" colors which of course comes down to personal taste.

@@joelg5358 OK fair call but superchargers and turbochargers are not accessories, they are serious modifications and considering the car is not on sale yet you won't see this type of modification for a long time. Accessories are bolt ons.
