This was such a cute and stylish hat. I’m glad I purchased the pattern. Well worth it. It took me a little bit to get the hang of the pattern but with patience and persistence and really studying the stitches it finally clicked and came out so beautiful. My 1 year old granddaughter and DIL are going to look so seasonably stylish in their matching mommy & me pumpkin hats! Thank you.

I love this hat! I have a question, last year I made a hat not your pattern but similar ribbing and it was a cable hat. I went to try on this year and the ribbing is stretched out. only wore it a few times. I have had this happen before is that just the nature of the beast?

Denise Briese it really depends upon a few factors: the stitching and the fiber used. Acrylic should hold its shape and give some, wool works best, cotton not so much since it tends to have no bounce back.
