Hello Caner, thank you for the video😊. If you change your base in US, does that affect your seniority position?. How do you advise European students, who wants to be a pilot in US? Because if they peruse an FAA license first to get hired in US earlier and this does not happen, they can’t be a pilot in Europe. Also, students who wants to be a pilot now, should they do it first than earning a degree? So they can take advantage of the high demand or do you believe that having a degree should be first?. Thank you so much in advance and for these videos, it helps a lot.
@CanerAcarbay
@CanerAcarbay 9 ай бұрын
Hey, when you change base, your relative seniority will be changed for this base as well. There is one global seniority in US legacy which basically shows your seniority in the company and there is relative seniority which is decided based on which base you are in, what airframe you are flying to and the most important which position you are flying (fo/capt)

Having experienced what it’s like to live and work in various states, I can confidently say that none compare to the vibrant life California has to offer. Especially for a pilot like you, California is a treasure trove of opportunities waiting to be explored. Despite what you might hear about taxes or the cost of living, the quality of life and the sheer number of opportunities available here more than make up for it. Los Angeles, in particular, is a bustling hub where your career can truly take off. Surrounded by stunning landscapes and endless skies, your work will feel more like a dream. Trust me, moving to California is a decision you’ll never regret. The state’s rich aviation community and the lifestyle it offers are unmatched. So, don’t let concerns about expenses hold you back. This place has so much to offer, and as a pilot, you’re in the perfect position to make the most of it. California isn’t just a state; it’s a way of life that you’ll absolutely love being a part of

Thanks for watching! The average take-home money after federal taxes and considering the cost of living can vary greatly depending on where you live and your individual circumstances. Also, here as a pilot, you can double your salary if you are willing to have 10 days off in a month rather than 17 days. Therefore, unlike other carriers in the Middle East or in Europe, pilots' salaries change significantly based on individual performances.
