I love the look of vintage mics and Astatic is one of the venerable names of yore in classic mics. CAD has an extra coolness factor for me now that I know that it's the same company with the storied history of Astatic.

E40 is solid but the bass in your voice sounds so much better on the E100sx

Keep reviewing condensers, Bark. My space is still mostly untreated so I’m immune to condenser GAS. My King Bee 2 is ready when the space is.

@@ObscureMics Looking forward to it. If you have a treated space I think it'll be a real treat. The KBII is a real keeper, hehe. I really love Neat's products, and also have both the Worker Bee OG and the Worker Bee II. I use the WB OG for Zoom meetings and put my podcast guests on the WB II since their mic technique usually sucks and a condenser works better for them.

Hi does your one suffer really badly from emi i just received one love the sound of it. But sadly im getting really bad feedback when its close to anything electrical, tried on both my rcp2 and mixpre 3 , multiple cables and all the same issue, tested with other mics with out problems so it’s clearly an issue with the mic.

After taking it apart it appears to be a grounding issue took a wire off the ground wire to the metal leg on my desk no more hum/feedback
