Thanks Lars, great video. Is there a way to choose a more efficient pattern for operations. I noticed a lot of travel from the end of one row to the next. Should have moved directly to next row and not have traveled so far to the very beginning.

Hi Lars, just want to say a big thank you for what you do here! Your video on constraints have helped so much, working with Fusion 360 is more of an dance than a struggle now. If i just could find the video where you explain "Join when extruding", as it sometimes makes one body, and sometimes separate bodies 🤔😊. Keep up the great work! Best regards from Sweden.

There is a drop down box at the bottom of the extrude menu. It has several options that will change way the extrude will work. You can join, cut, create a new body, or intersect. I would suggest playing with each of those. That will be the best way to understand what each option does.

Are the pattern dimensions/number of instances a parameter or have dimension numbers so you don't have to remember to change your cam pattern whenever you change your model pattern? Could you use a parameter for those values instead of typing it in? Otherwise, I personally would often forget to change the CAM to match the model or vice-versa.

Does this work for separate parts meaning if I duplicate 5 of the same parts can I utilize this operation? Or only the same feature within the same part?
