I first went with my Grandfather as an early teen. He showed me everything. My sister has the book printed about Cade's Cove and my heritage. Beautiful, isn't it?

Lots of wildlife early in the morning and later in the afternoon. I have had the pleasure of visiting twice. I was married on the other side of the mountain, in Wears valley on top of a mountain, in a little white chapel.

Those serene Mountain View’s beckon people. When I see a mountain, I feel peace, life , and God. Always have . They are His Cathedral’s .

It must have been a very hard life, but rewarding to wake up to that view every day. I loved the man on the dulcimer playing "Sweet Hour of Prayer" lovely even with his missed note.😂. Cades Cove is where my paternal family is from. John Oliver was my Grandfather's great grandfather. Tiptons, Shields, Carters. I hope you hiked Abrahm's Falls. It's worth the climb. You can find many of my ancestors in the Methodist Church cemetery. Fact.
