Took my GSX-R1000R for a Trackday in Cadwell Park. Mad, mad track!! Mrs G behaved quite well 😄 but I didn't and almost stacked it 🤣 360 view of my near crash, enjoy!

Suzuki should make Guinters head of Public Relations for the company cos he's Brilliant👍..how many ex-World Champions load their own Bike then drive to the track & unload..plus Mrs. Guinters & the kids are awesome and you can tell they have grown up with a Bike Mad Racing Da cos they're so laid back at the track when Guinters is riding the Livin S*** outta the Big Suzook...Then you have his funny accent...it makes Guinters sound like he's from France...Birmingham... Liverpool... it's insane & Brilliant at the same time.😀👍. When all this Covid-19 virus Insanity is over I hope Suzuki will send Guinters over here to the U.S. to do some Q&A at Suzuki Dealerships and do some Track days?

That was a brown trouser moment at the track. lol Just purchased his Shark helmet he designed in Aprilia colours. Carbon Race R Pro. Fantastic lid and so so light. Had the non carbon version for 5 years. Had a job to find a carbon one. It was on eBay, a glass display cabinet in a dealers all these years. I'd love it signed....

Please tell us more about your suit; make, model, since it's a beauty? I wonder if the two charges are to allow for a nasty high side followed by stopping hard without air fence in the gravel trap? In other words one crash, two significant impacts. I guess GP testing would discover what really happens.

Bonjour Sylvain. Vraiment sympas ces vidéos. Hâte que le confinement cesse, que le moto GP reprenne et nous puissions également à notre petit niveau mettre les roues sur circuit (je n’en peux plus). Le Bugatti me manque !!!! 😂😂😂. L’application a l’air super (chrono et écart en live en temps réel) même si j’utilise un Starlane. Ça peut être complémentaire et sympa lorsque je diffuse une vidéo. Pas trop compliquée à utiliser ???? Bonne continuation.

Only ever raced the short track at Caldwell, that back section and turn 1 looks a whole lot of fun, in the dry! Really enjoyed this vid. Have you ever ridden the Brands Hatch full circuit, Sylvain? If not, given the chance you should try it. In my limited experience it’s best track after Suzuka (before they made us negotiate that damned new chicane).

Great video.. I was curious when you hit some corners you don't roll on the throttle or even add any until leaving the corner, is that a track thing? Or huge experience thing as most of us newbies are told to roll on or trail brake and keep some revs on.. thanks again.

Stationary speed(roll on the throttle) on the track is losing time, you should be either braking(losing speed) or accelerating (gaining speed), not maintaining speed. Keep in mind that in track you are perfecting 10-15 corners. On the road for all the variables like you said is the safest way

Cadwell is a great spectator circuit too, small fences close to the track, makes you feel part of the race, not like Donnington is now. I live in Louth right next to Cadwell and go there a lot, and we can hear the bikes going round on track/race days. The camera you used smoothed out the action, a little too much for me, was almost like yuou were hovering, it didnt even show the dip and raise as you braked and accelerated, not quit a Josh Brooks over the mountain but at least you left the ground :)

Totally agree the track is fantastic for spectators I’m from lincoln but go cadwell a lot on car & bike.. such an amazing track..
